December 21. 2018
Well, it is officially Winter and although it is cool, it is nothing like Maryland winters, thank God! I haven't been to the pool for 3 days because it has been rainy and thunderstorming. Also a lot has happened since I last blogged. I can't tell you everything, but I do want to wish you a wonderful, heartfelt Christmas with those you love. I will be with my newly adopted Church family on Sunday and during the time between Christmas and New Year, I will be visiting my friends from Maryland.
December 24, 2018
Wow, Christmas already and life is so wonderful! I praise God for sending Jesus, birthed in a lowly, dirty, animal barn, so all of us, no matter how low we think we are, we can have full, personal, access, to the King of Kings and His saving , abundant and wonderful power! If the King of Kings had been born in a ritsy castle, some of us would not have access to Him. We don't deserve such a wonderful gift, thank God we don't get what we deserve!
God loved the world so much, that he gave Jesus, His Son, (the only one) to die a horrible death, just so we could be reconciled back to God in a personal relationship. Jesus is God's gift to us, really, the only one we need. It doesn't make logical sense, and if you are looking for logic, you won't find Jesus. God is Spirit, He is real, Jesus is Spirit that became flesh and grew up in this world so we are without excuse. We are spiritual beings, we just happen to live temporarily, in a body, which, when our spirit leaves, it dies and recycles back to dirt, We are not dirt, only our bodies, so we don't die. Our spirit goes somewhere, we get to choose, (thank God He gave us free will to choose) Life everlasting with Him or torment everlasting in hell with the devil. We have been given the gift of Jesus, it is our choice to receive the gift or choose everlasting hell!
Jesus is the only way to everlasting life. Even if you have been a "good" person and are "alright" in your own eyes, Jesus is still the only way. We didn't make the rules!
The greatest gift that I could give you at Christmas (or any other time) is the gift of Life through Jesus Christ! He is the answer to any problem I have ever had. I spent too much of this brief life that I have in this body, abusing it (the only place I have, for God to live in me). I also spent too much of my life consumed with me, my stuff and "mine". His plan for me, is to share the wonderful truth about Jesus to everyone I meet so they can have eternal life with Him too.
I encourage you, if you know Jesus personally, don't allow the adversary to make you ashamed to share the Prince of Peace you know. If you don't know Him personally, He is very near, and just wants to be invited into your heart. Won't you ask Him in today? You will never regret it!! It will be the best Christmas ever had and you will never forget it! I love you all and I hope I can tell you soon about all the excitement and wonderful moving of the Holy Spirit. I wish you Jesus for Christmas!!!

A wonderful day of surprises!
December 5, 2018
Wow, it has been cool here and I didn't go to the pool today, but not because of the weather. I will tell you about that later.
First, let be tell you about Sunday. I watched FTHCM.org (My Church in Maryland) until time to go to the Church here in the park at 11;30 AM. When I arrived I was there a little early and I talked to Pastor Cole and he had a twinkle in his eye. He told me he new a friend of mine and tried to help me guess but I couldn't. When he told me, it was the friend I had planned to visit during Christmas. Well that was surprised enough, but then Pastor Cole told me that he was looking to come under the authority of my FTHCM church in Maryland. WHAT?! Wow, he had no clue I was connected until his wife saw FTHCM in my blog. We hugged and I cried!! That is so awesome, God is so amazing!
I like this RV park and I was able to extend my stay another 8 days. Which was really helpful. I met and adopted some people last night at the pool and hot tub. A couple from New Hampshire adopted me and invited me for coffee/tea this morning to their RV. It was a beautiful 5th Wheel and it had fireplace! It felt really good as it was cold (50 degrees). They are Christians and we shared so much in common. Pat is an author and an artist. She published a Children's book and did her own art work, it was really cute and it was about Celiac disease. Her daughter had been ill with it for over 10 years and nearly died before it was diagnosed by a Naturopathic Doctor. They took her off of Gluten and she was fine.
Did I tell you when my new Grandson Mike helped my put on the wheel covers to protect the tires from the sun, he noticed a bulge in the wall of the back tire on the RV? When I was at the hot tub I asked 3 full-timers who were there about the tire and got a wealth of information. Did you know that the date of manufacture is written on the tire? It is in the oval, written as 4 numbers the first two numbers are the month and the last two are the year.(tip of the day)
I checked a couple of places and finally got an estimate of $230 for a single tire, but they recommended that I get two so they would be even, since it was one of the dual wheels. I kept checking and found out that one of my Roadside Assistance Programs (remember I had 4, now I have 3) would come to me, change the tire right here in the park, and would use my spare tire (which I had and didn't know it) to replace the tire with the bulge. After many hours because the first tow truck got lost, then blew a hose, they sent a second tow truck that got lost in the same place and they found each other and so two tow trucks showed up at the same time and helped each other do the job. The miracle was that the spare tire which was under the back of the RV, WAS BRAND NEW!!!!! IT DID NOT COST ME ANYTHING!!!!! Praise the Lord! He takes such good care of me! PS. I adopted one of the tow truck drivers.
So, that is why I didn't go to the pool today, it was too cold anyway. Four of my Grandchildren came to check on me while the tow trucks were here, that was nice and comforting.
I am continually adding to my family, 221 Grandchildren and counting. Woopee!!!

Cleanse is over, but "it's" not over until the Fat lady's fit!
November 26, 2018
It's Monday and the end of the Cleanse, but the beginning of the rest of my life! A life of Thinness, Fitness, and developing a body (My Temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell in GRANDLY) to an example of a Healthy witness, God's plan for my life. I have learned a lot about health and nutrition over the last 44 years of study and it is high time I apply what I know to be true, and put that knowledge to work in my life. God gave us a plan to be healthy, and it is not that we get sick and He heals us, although He definitely can do that. I have seen it in my life and others. I believe that His plan is for us to maximize what we have, eat the "live" foods, taken from the "clean" nutrient ladel dirt (where we all came from) to nourish our bodies. I believe eating meat is second best because we are getting nutrition second hand, from animals that eat the live foods (hopefully). We need to drink pure water.
It is so sad, that to get live foods and pure water, we almost have to rely on Company's we can trust to do what is necessary to purify and give us the best "live" organic foods available, and then purify them, to get rid of the contamination of the ground water and acid rain, a result of our lack of respect for God's plan for our environment. We live in a man-defiled world! I just read that scientist are suggesting that to combat global warming, they want to spray the upper sky (12 miles up) with a toxic chemical! WHAT?!!! God already has a plan to purify, (example, trees) we just need to learn His ways and obey His plan! We need to check our own personal greed. Are we willing to sacrifice some of our "comforts" to recycle, use less energy, stop using toxic chemicals in our home that pollute the fish, water, land, and air? Grammy Whammy of the day! I am passionate about what we each can do to improve and not waste our natural resources, including our own brains and body! I am starting with me. Who's on board with me?
THE BIG CLEANSE REVEAL!
Results of the seven day Cleanse:
Lost 7 lbs. Woopee!
Lost 6 1/2 Inches Wooee!
Feel great!
No hunger!
No cravings!
No pain!
No Medication!
Loads of energy!
Totally enjoyable!
Lots to eat!
Feel younger!
Clothes are hanging & loose!
Exercised in the pool 6 days
THE BEST NEWS:
I checked my stats from two years ago on the same date and these are the results:
In 2016 I weighed 14 lbs more
In 2016 I was 12 inches larger.
What does this mean? I have been struggling with food choices all my life. I would lose weight and gain more back, steadily gaining and never being able to keep weight off for more than 6 months. I NOT ONLY KEPT THE WEIGHT OFF FOR TWO YEARS BUT I LOST 14 LBS! This is so encouraging! I believe I can continue to be an example. It is my desire to bring hope to the hopeless. Those who have "accepted", our "fate" and submitted to the lye that keeps us in bondage to unhealthy food and drink choices. WE ARE THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM! ADMIT IT, DEAL WITH IT, WE CAN DO THIS!!!!
OK, as I leap off my soap box, please hear my heart, I love you all and want the best for you. If you want to know more about the Cleanse to jump start your journey, contact me for more details. Your life is worth it, and others are depending on you.๐๐

Happy Thanksgiving with my Peanut Butterball "Turkey"
HAPPY, PROSPEROUS, JOYOUS, GRATEFUL, LOVING, ENERGIZED, HEALTHY, PLENTIFUL, ABUNDANT, GLORIOUS THANKSGIVING AND LIFE!!!
November 23, 2018I just finished my Orange Peanut Butterball "Turkey" with Pineapple stuffing and it is "cooking" in the freezer. That's how Grandma Swann celebrates Thanksgiving as a Vegan on a cleanse. This is a little "cheat" if I eat it, but it made me feel festive and in the Thanksgiving spirit. This is the size of a large Cornish hen, you can double or triple the recipe for a larger one, this one will serve about 8-10 non-greedy people. It is very filling and nutritious.
Orange Peanut-Butterabll "Turkey"
With pineapple stuffing
1-pint jar Organic Peanut butter
4 scoops Shaklee Chocolate Life Plan shake,
5 sm. packets Stevia to taste
3 scoops Shaklee Orange Hydrate,(to taste)
1 scoop flax seed (optional)
1/4 cup dry roasted (plain) peanuts-(optional) it adds crunch
Mix together in a large bowl
Place all of the mixture on a plate or platter to "carve" or mold it to look like a Turkey
Cut slices in the main part and add drained pinapple slices and cover so they don't show.
(pineapple cuts the "too much peanut butter" taste) place it in the freezer until ready to serve.
tip: Because of the nature of the mixture it will not hold it's shape unless it is cold. I used a "stabilizer" for the drumsticks,of a half of a plastic knife anchored in the body. Also the peanuts shouldn't show, they don't even need to be there accept I like crunch. Slice to serve.
So, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, and I prayed that all of you, reading this, have a blessed Day and Wonderful life in Jesus. God Bless You!!!
I am going to the pool, yes on Thanksgiving! I played water Volleyball day before yesterday, I hope there will be a team today. It will be 80 degrees again today, so if any of you come over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house in your slay, she will be in the pool๐
I will tell you some of the other happenings later. Love you, Grandma Swann
P.S.
This is the 5th day of my cleanse and I feel great! And thinner! Woopee!!!! I don't weigh or measure until Sunday, which completes the week. I will keep you posted, Be thinking about maybe starting your own Cleanse, we are doing a "kick off" on Monday, after today, you may just be so inclined๐. It has been a joy and not difficult at all, never hungry and cravings have ceased, in fact I have to remind myself to eat the amount of veggies and fruit suggested.

Want to CLEANSE?
Nov 19, 2018
There is so much life, to life, it is wonderful!!
I am in Clermont, FL, only about 20 miles from Orlando and Disney World, not that that is important to me (been there done that) but just so you know where I am. It is a huge place with 850 RV sites and a lot of happenings. I was able to get a great site near the pool and the happenings. The day I arrived, I stopped at the Welcome center where I had to unhook the car and leave it in the parking lot until I found a site. A gentleman asked if he could help me unhook. Of course, I couldn't refuse, when we finished, we exchanged cards and he was a Minister (I met his wife today at church). I was scouting out my spot, and my newly adopted (from the last park) Granddaughter from Costa Rica, was bicycling up the road, she saw me before I saw her. She showed me where they were, and then her husband drove my car from where I had left it, at the Welcome center to my site. Then they both helped me back in and get settled.
I have met some interesting people. I met Russ, he is RVing full time by himself and he is in a wheelchair! He broke his neck in a car accident 34 years ago and decided a few months ago to see the USA in an RV. I met a lady that has a motorcycle, I asked her if I could sit on it to see if it would work for me, it didn't, I could hardly get my leg over the seat, while I was struggling with that and laughing, Russ was videoing my attempts. NO, I WILL NOT SHARE IT!
Remember when I went to the Family Fun Day last week at my friends church? Well the health check up was done by Bay Care. I said that because Friday, I got a call from Bay Care as a follow-up to my health assessment. The man that called was Kevin Shields (https://kevinshieldsfitness.com). He (we are adopted) said I qualified for a 12 week fitness program. I cut him off because I didn't think I would be in the Tampa area that long. We chatted for awhile and found out that he needed a Grandma so he gave me his information and we were adopted. We couldn't talk more because his boss was sitting next to him, but I checked out his website and was blown away! He has a Master's degree in Fitness and Nutrition and is Certified in lots of stuff, is a Chronic Conditions Health Coach, and has a mission to help 10,000 people with chronic conditions get off medication! WOW! Are we related or what?! We plan to talk today, can't wait,
I went to Church here at the park yesterday, they have two services 8:30 and 11:30 each with different Pastors, I streamed my Church (fthcm.org) until I had to go to the later service, then finished when I got back. I felt right at home, it is always different, but a good message. He used the story of Jacob and Esau and talked about Esau's anxiety about "dying" of hunger, when he came back from a hunting trip, which made him sell his birthright to Jacob, who was plotting to get it, by cooking up a good (scheme) meal. His subject was"It just isn't that serious." He likened it to our allowing our "situations" to cause us anxiety, getting us off course and we stop trusting God as our source and keep trying to "fix" things ourselves, outside of God's will for our lives. We are willing to "sell" our birthright (our relationship with God through Jesus), choosing to use the World's system rather than seeking the Kingdom of God.
I talked to my friend Sarah, and she noticed that my hearing has improved! Praise the Lord! My goal is to never need a hearing aide again. I keep feeling younger every day. By the way, the "hitch in my get-a-long" in my hip area, that kept me limping and in pain when I walked or moved, did I tell you? IT IS GONE! Praise the Lord! I learned about pressing on the area that hurt the worst until the pain subsided. It relaxes the muscles so the nerve isn't pinched to create the pain. I worked with it for about 4 days and then the pain slowly subsided, it took about a week to be completely free of pain. No meds, no Chiropractor, just lots of Shaklee supplements, (those that focus on inflammation), prayer and patience. I could not have made the move to the new park if I still had that kind of pain, it was too debilitating, I didn't even go outside of the RV for three days, the fourth day I felt enough better to go to the pool, and I guess that helped too. It is interesting that I didn't hardly remember it, I guess we don't pay attention when we are feeling good. It is on my gratitude list for this time of the year when we turn to Thanksgiving.
This is my second day of the CLEANSE! Yes, just before and through Thanksgiving. I have to break the hold that food had over me! Especially this time of year, the focus is on food, and mostly unhealthy food. For the "Cleanse", I will use a few of the Shaklee cleanse supplements morning and evening and graze all day, eating at least every two hours as much as I want of only (mostly raw) veggies and fruits and filtered water. It is a proven 7 day plan that:
Even though I have been Vegan for over a year, I have "cheated" with junk food and cheese and salad dressings and extra stuff in my salads that have kept the weight on. After the 7 days I plan to continue with the Shaklee weight loss plan that retains muscle and keeps the metabolism going.
I weighed, measured and took my blood pressure, before I got started, Want to join me? I need a buddy or buddies, it makes it more fun when you can share the excitement. Rosemary in Oregon just sent me the results of the first week of her group of 3, they lost a total of 15lbs and 13 1/4 inches, diabetes numbers came down drastically and they all felt better! Wow!
There is a way to get the CLEANSE free, let me know if you are interested.
I plan to go to the pool today, it finally warmed up, it will be 80 degrees, WOOPEE!!!!

YIKES!! No phone calls
Nov 14, 2018
Yesterday I had no phone service, YIKES!!! No calls in or out and I couldn't even call Verizon to get help. It said I was not connected. I tried to call them from my Tablet, through wifi, but to do that I needed a phone connection so I could set up the APP. I asked my next door neighbor (who had Verizon and his phone was fine), to call me to see if it would ring, it didn't and it went to voice mail on his end. Wow, I tried everything I could think of, then decided to go to a Verizon store in the area. I did (it was nice to have the car) and learned something I already knew, TRUST GOD that "all things work together for good to those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose," Rom 8:28
Guess what my new Grandson did to fix it???? He turned it off and back on again. That was it! WALAH, FIXED!!! I took my Tablet in also, and was able to get it set up to make calls with WiFi if it ever happens again, so it was a wonderful trip, I gained information, got my Tablet set up, and adopted an awesome Grandson who is 31, knows Jesus, unchurched and in engaged to be married in 2020. He made it official by giving me his information.
Life is soooo good when you can trust God that every challenge is going to work out for your good, no matter what it is. Father knows best, stick with His plan and get excited about the adventurous outcome. If I am not excited about the outcome, it is likely that I am in fear, stressed, anxiety, etc.... Fear is not of God and has no place in His Kingdom (Heaven or earth), It is the adversary's plan to distract us from trusting God. Are we afraid of death? Jesus saved us from that, with Eternal life. Painful outcomes? Going through pain and suffering makes us stronger for the next one. If we wimp out, every trial will be worse than the first and harder to deal with because we haven't become stronger to deal with it. It is all in the growing up process.
I went to the pool when I got back and for the last two days there have only been folks from Oregon there. Two couples and me. Good conversation. I got more acquainted with Teresa and we have a lot in common. She does crafts and sells them on Ebay while she is on the road full time. http://stores.ebay.com/ grandmasatticandsweets

She has published two RV Cook books and a book about child molestation. She has done her genealogy as I have and is a history buff. She has read the book series, "Wagon Train" and said she would loan me the first book, and we will be together in the Fla. parks from time to time and when I finish she will loan the next one to me. Both sides of my family landed in America before the revolutionary war and went to Oregon by wagon train, so I am very interested in the books. We had a good time in the pool while getting our exercise. Oh, by the way, she used to raise Pot-Bellied pigs and sell them. Sounds like my kind of gal!
I got some more Spanish moss and brought it back to the RV in my hands. On the way back a lady cautioned me about "chiggers", tiny bugs that can get under your skin and create red itchy bumps. She suggested I microwave the moss, which I did. I read up on it and it seems to be a problem only if it has been on the ground for a while.
Tomorrow I will be leaving this park to go about an hour and 20 minutes to Clermont, Fla which is about 18 miles from Orlando. I will be there 3 weeks then back here for 2 weeks.

"You can choose the choice, but not the consequences", by Pastor J A Cherry
Nov 12, 2018
I went to the Family Fun Day at the Church in Brandon, Fl, on Saturday and expected to see the Pastor and his wife , and my Shaklee friend that I missed last Sunday because she was at the Women's retreat from my Church in Maryland. I was able to visit with them, but got a great surprise! I saw 3 other people I knew from my church in Maryland and one friend I hadn't seen for 25 years and she looks so good and will be 80 next year! What a blessing!
They had a health screening there for blood pressure, A1c (Diabetes), Cholesterol, I was looking good accept my blood pressure was high (I was excited, and it was down later) and my good Cholesterol was a little low, I need to work on that.
Family Fun Day was fun but I was not able to eat because they only had hamburgers, soda's and ice cream (home made and Dixie cups). Being Vegan, I could only eat the Dixie cups. ๐Do you remember Dixie cups (small ice cream with the wooden spoons?) It had been so long since I had one, I caved in, and ate one,,,,and paid the price later. On my way home (an hour and 15 min drive) I got sooo sleepy that 20 miles from where I was going, I had to stop at a rest stop and take a nap, in the car! I never take naps! The next morning I woke up with Arthritis pain in my joints, OH NO, back on the good foot, Choices come with consequences (Good and bad). That one moment of pleasure was not worth the consequences!
I found this blog that I didn't send before, so I am sending it now

Hey there, it’s
34 degrees outside but brilliant sunshine over the Walmart parking lot. God
knew we needed it, amazing spring warmth to banish The "winter thoughts” and
make us grateful again for what we already have: God’s love, forgiveness, peace, joy, comfort,
and adoption into his family, if we choose. Ah There is the key… if we
choose.
As I travel
around I introduce myself as “Grandma Swann.”. I get several reactions: Older
people get “huffy” sometimes and say,” well I’m a grandparent too.” Mostly others
are surprised and caught off guard, but it will always get a smile and guards
will come down. Then I tell them that I’m up for adoption, I give them my card and tell them about my blog address on it. Then, I tell them, if they send me their phone and email address, that it makes it official, if they need a grandmother.
I get several
reactions from that; “ No thank you I have a grandmother”, or a nervous laugh and,”
I don’t have a grandma,” with a wistful look. If they don’t tell me, I ask if they have one.
And I offer
again by suggesting "You can’t have too many Grandmas". Usually I get agreement
with that. The point being , as my pastor says,” giving his not complete until
receiving takes place.”
To be
adopted as an adult is a choice. I don’t adopt everyone, (seems like it
sometimes). I offer adoption, and it is either received or rejected. Jesus offered the same thing. Until we choose Jesus (and He gave us the
choice), the adoption is not complete. He died a horrible death, to give us
adoption into the family of God. The gift of Salvation brings with it joy,
love, comfort, peace, and change and eternal life in heaven with Him when we
die. It is like any other gift we are
given, we can choose to receive it or not.
But as my Pastor also says “Choices are long lasting and life changing”,
no matter which choice you make. “You
can choose the choice, but you don’t get to choose the consequences.” You will reap what you sow. It’s a
law of God whether we like it or not!
He gave….we
need to receive, it is simple, accept the gift by asking Him into your heart
today as your Lord and Savior. And He
will come in.
Jesus gave
us peace, He is the Prince of peace, have we received it? Really?
What about Joy? Comfort in the “midst”.
Forgiveness? Did we receive? Will
we give it to others? Some questions to
ponder.

Nov. 8, 2018
Well, you probably thought I fell in the pool. I have been enjoying it most every day and meeting very interesting people. Because the pool is not heated, and it has been cool (72-78 degrees)๐there haven't been a lot of people at the pool.
It is hard to reconstruct happenings when I am so far behind, but I will try. It is very interesting here in Florida, and since this is the first time I have had a car, I have been able to see the character of the area. There are lots of farms and I don't know how many retirement communities that probably used to be farms. Every couple of days, there is a thunderstorm (just like Maryland summers).
Last Sunday, I drove 75 miles to attend Church in Brandon, FL, where a long time friend is Pastoring a very loving Church. I hadn't seen him or his wife for over 20 years. He didn't recognize me (white hair) at first until I said, Sister Swann. He and my husband were ordained around the same time at our Church. The church is called 'Rivers of Life', and he actually taught on the Holy Spirit, it was great to hear him again, They both look the same and I felt very much at home. They honored me by inviting me to sit up front with his wife and taking communion with the Ministers (14) of them. They have a nice facility and good size Church grounds where they will have Family Fun Day on Saturday, I plan too go back for that.
I was treated so special, they assigned one of the members to walk me to my car. I saw some spanish moss lying on the ground and asked if I could have some. I used it for covering the foam and the 'elements' of flower arrangements when I did my flower business. I have an idea that I will make some arrangements for Christmas giving. Another member was very helpful and said I could have all I wanted, that it killed the trees, and he didn't like it anyway, I got a nice bunch, plenty for what I need.
After I left church, I called a Shaklee friend, that used to be an Usher at our Church in Maryland, who now lives in Florida. She lived near where I was, and I thought since I was in the area, we could get together. Well, she was in Maryland! She had just returned from the FTHCM Women's Retreat and was coming back to Florida later that day. Then she told me that Rivers of Life was her Church! Wow, she also said she would be at the Family Fun Day on Saturday, so I will get to see her then. Isn't God good?
I attended Bible Study here at the Park on October 31st. Better than celebrating a devilish holiday, Halloween. Have you checked it's history?
I have been spending some time on writing and working on my vision, mission and plan for the rest of my life.
I think I slept in the wrong position and woke up a couple of days ago with pain in my lower back on the left side. It made me walk crooked and I had to be very conscious of standing up straight. I learned of a technique that has helped and the pain is slowly going away. I knew that it was muscle related and the theory is that muscles get tight, pulls out of place pinching the nerves which causes the pain.
The treatment, is to locate the place where the pain is the worst, and pressing with your knuckle as hard as you can, or press up against the wall with a tennis ball or hard object against the spot. Hold it until it stops hurting. That process relaxes the muscle which stops the pinching of the nerve. I have done it before and it worked, it is a little slower this time but it is gradually getting better. It has kept me indoors and from the pool for two days, but today I did go out to the store (87 degrees) because I was running out of food. "Patience is God's plan to get you everything" (My Pastor said that).
That reminds me, if you don't have a good source of hearing the word of God in a manner that you can apply to practical living, listen to www.fthcm.org (live stream of our service) on Sunday at 9:30 AM Eastern (and for the next 24 hours) and Tuesday at 7:30 PM Eastern (and for 24 hours after). On the road to Florida, finally towing.
October 26, 2018
On the road again, headed to Florida. I guess I am an official "Snowbird". I left Harbor View Campground, Colonial Beach, VA. about 11 AM October 24 after hitching up the car, sort of on my own I had observers and as I was beginning, I noticed a bolt was too short to put the pin in. It had been about 15 years since I had hitched a car to an RV and I had kept all of the parts but evidently we had lost a bolt and purchased a new one that was too short. I decided to go ahead and do what I knew to do, and finished hooking it up without the bolt. While I was doing that, one of the Rangers at the park came by and I asked him if they sold it in the store or did they have one. He said they didn't have one in the store but he would check to see if they had one in the shop. By the time, I had finished hitching up, he came back with a bolt with two nuts, put it on for me and it worked! I was off. I had never driven with a tow car, so I had to think differently. I was about 10-12 feet longer with the car on the back and I would not be able to back up That meant I would have to think ahead before I pulled in anywhere so I could see where to pull through or out. At first I was a little apprehensive, but a little while later I stopped at the store to get the replacement bolt and found a place to park that was a ways from the store but I could easily drive around the store to get out.
Driving on the highway was an easy adjustment, I just traveled between 55-60 mph even though the speed limit was 70 and getting in and out of gas stations worked out as well. I stopped to get gas just before the North Carolina border in Virginia and I'm glad I did as the gas prices were about 10 cents a gallon more in NC. The next fill up was in South Carolina and the price had gone down again, God is good! I stopped for the night at South of the Border, SC and had a little adventure.
It had just turned dark and I thought I would pull in back of a store where I had stayed twice before. Well, because it was dark, I went in back of the wrong store and ended up with a fence in front of me and a narrow alley was the only outlet. Well that wasn't an option because there was a BIG pothole that seemed like it would have swallowed the RV and the car! So here I am stuck, I couldn't back up, and couldn't go forward. I was next to 3 dog runs for watch dogs and 3 or 4 dogs were all barking at the same time. Interesting. I figured with all that barking, someone would come to see what all the ruckus was about. Sure enough, about 5 minutes later I heard a knock at the door and I looked out and it was a security guard. He told me with his precious deep southern drawl, that I couldn't stay there the night and we would have to unhitch the car and turn both the RV and the car around and head out to the nearest truck stop for the night. He was so nice, and said if I would talk him through the process, he would do the unhitching and hitch it back up. Woopee! Praise the Lord! He knew the Lord and I adopted him. He unhitched it in no time, said it was against the rules for him to drive the vehicles (I had to do that). When they got repositioned, he hitched is back up and I was on my way to a nearby truck stop where I stayed the night. God always sends his angels to take care of me! Praise Him!
My next stop was in Brunswick, GA at a Sams club, where I met with a Shaklee Member in my group that I had talked to on the phone but never met in person. It seemed like we had known each other for years. We had a good session and, since I still had some daylight left, I drove on across the Florida border and stayed the night in the Welcome center where they had night security. It had just started to rain as I pulled in. I had a good night's sleep and since I had turned in early, I woke up at 4:30 AM and started driving as soon as it turned daylight. It was Florida, the rain had stopped and it was 72 degrees in the morning. Wow! I checked and it was 32 in Maryland. See why I go South for the Winter?
I had another Shaklee appointment in Palm Coast, FL with a Distributor who used to live in DC. She had her Aunt with her (who was from DC and down visiting). She was awesome, 84 and very "young and feisty", my kind of gal! We got along great and she enjoyed seeing the inside of the RV. After meeting with them, I drove on through some interesting back roads with lots of farms, swamps and ritzy golf resorts, all on the same road to the the Campground near Ocala, FL. The Campground is considered "5 Star", very nice and I will be here three weeks, then go directly (about 1 1/2 hours to the next park where I will stay for another three weeks. That one is a little closer to Orlando, then after three weeks there, I will come back to this one for three more weeks then go further South for two weeks around Christmas and New Years (All free). I will be near some friends that live down there.
As soon as I hooked up, I went to the pool! The pool was not heated but very refreshing and wonderful. I hadn't been to a pool since California and it was great! I arrived on Friday, and Saturday I drove the car to Tampa (1 hour and 10 min) for the Shaklee training where I was going to meet my "Grandson" that I adopted on the phone when he lived in Kansas. He is originally from Puerto Rico and came to help with his Mom here in Tampa. He is interested in Shaklee, wanted to come to the training but had to work Saturday, so he met me after the training. He is awesome! It was so good to connect after talking on the phone for two years. He and his Mom are going to Puerto Rico to see his Grandmother for a week on Tuesday and we will reconnect when his gets back.
Sunday I streamed my Church, the message is on "A call to Righteousness"! Wow, it was life changing. (Check it out www.fthcm.org) I just chilled the rest of Sunday then I decided to update you with my blog. It was 42 degrees this morning, WHAT! And only 75 degrees today but tomorrow it will be back in the 80's, Woopee!

Swann's Go South for the Winter
October 20,
2018
PREPARING
FOR WINTER
We all know
that Winter comes every year and we need to prepare for it, both Spiritually,
emotionally and naturally.
So….when
stuff happens in life, like Winter (and it will) that is; "bad".
difficult, hard, sad, emotionally challenging, painful, out of our control.
what do we do? DO NOW, WHAT YOU KNOW NOW
TO DO! (Founding Pastor John A Cherry) Thinking correctly helps greatly. and knowing
the truth is vital!
As
Christians, we are not exempt from "hard stuff", we just have the
power of God, the help of the Holy Spirit, the knowledge that we accepted
Jesus's death, burial and resurrection, allowing us access to God and Heaven. So if we die it is OK and whatever we go
through “Comes to pass”. Also the knowledge that IT CAME TO PASS, and that
"All things work together for good to those who love God and are the
called according to His purpose."(Rom 8:28) helps to get us through. Just
because we don't see how, when, where and who, doesn't mean that God isn't working
for our good. Trust God, He’s got it! We must be right with God to have that
confidence. ARE YOU RIGHT WITH GOD??? If not, it only takes a minute. Pray, Repent, ask for forgiveness and do right. God will forgive AND forget, He loves us like
a Father. He knows how to give us good
gifts, like; forgiveness, mercy, the power to overcome evil with good, like love,
etc.. He is such a good and loving God,
WOW!!!
GOOD NEWS: Spring always comes after Winter!!!! Always, every year, isn’t that COOL!!!
Sooo. Since Swans go south for the Winter… I’m
going to Florida!!! Woohoo!
I will be
leaving Maryland in 4 days from Colonial Beach,VA (where I am now) and travel
South for two days and arrive in Wildwood, FL on Friday. Oct 26. The next day I will be at a Shaklee training
in Tampa with an Adopted Grandson I have yet to meet in person. We met on the phone two years ago when he
lived in Kansas, we kept in touch, now he lives in Tampa and will be with me at
the Shaklee training. I just checked the
weather in Tampa, 88 degrees!!! Pool,
here I come!
A.J., my “Go
to RV guy” will help me get ready for the trip next week, and I will be ready
to go. I should be about a 12 hour drive,
and where I am going is not where the Hurricane Michael damage was. I will be bouncing around between three
Thousand Trail parks, all within an hour or 2 from each other. I can stay 3
weeks free, go directly to another park and stay another three weeks until Dec.
15th and because of the high use season they reduce the time in park
to 2 weeks. I have reservations until
Jan 15th. I can’t book beyond
that until December 19th. I
will go back to Maryland, April ish, depending on the weather. I put all my Winter clothes in storage 2
years ago and haven’t needed them yet.
Those of you
that have been following along know I have not hooked up my car to the
RV for towing since I have been full-timing. Now is the time. I looked for the hitch that attached to the
back of the RV. I looked in all the
storage in the RV and I didn’t see it on the pictures, so I assumed that I didn’t
have it. I called Kevin (his house was
the last time I remembered having it on the old RV 4 years ago), and he said he
thought it was in his garage. He looked
for it and couldn’t find it and hoped he hadn’t thrown it away. He was still looking, so I would have it by the
time I left. I came down to Colonial
Beach yesterday went around the back of the RV to get to the hook ups…and WOW,
there it was on the back of the RV! I
texted Kevin and thanked him for finding it and putting it on the RV. HE DIDN’T DO IT!!!
I looked at
the pictures again, close up and saw it and realized I had it on the back of
the RV for two years and didn’t realize it.
Wow, I felt so dumb! But I was
glad I had it.

Broke but not poor
October 1, 2018
Good Morning, what a great day already! I woke up at 3:00AM thanking God for all of
the blessings and most of all the peace that I have in a “broke”state. I am officially “broke” but not poor, I found
out this weekend at the Shaklee “Seize the Future” Seminar in North Carolina,
that “broke” means you are just out of money and “poor” means you are out of
everything. I am not poor because I have
everything I need, maybe not everything I want, but everything I need. In that state I am happy, fulfilled, joyful,
grateful, content, and thankful to God for an abundant life of family, adopted
family, friends, health and beautiful weather!
Autumn is here, my favorite time of the year! I love the crisp cool nights the nice warms
days, with no humidity, and no bugs!
Woopee!
I traveled with the Chestons on Saturday to Chapel Hill, NC.
I was able to help with the gas because my Sister had sent a fuel gift card for
my Birthday and I made Cucumber and tomato sandwiches. Do you remember them? Wow, fresh home grown tomatoes and cucumbers
on whole wheat bread with mayo. Mmmm
good! I also made a new creation for a
snack for the trip. I had some peanut butter, apricot preserves that were sugar
free, sugar free dry roasted peanuts, and Shaklee Life Plan Protein. I mixed all that together in a bowl, (I could
have rolled the mix into “protein balls”), but I had one large soft spinach
tortilla. Thinking it would keep us from
getting our hands gooey, I decided to do the wrap. So, I spread the mix on the
tortilla, rolled it up, cut the roll into one inch slices, Walah! A delicious,
protein packed, nutritionally balanced, filling healthy snack. I froze them so I could grab them and take
them with us. I also had popped some popcorn for snacking on the trip, and took
some Shaklee meal bars.
I woke up at 3:18 AM Saturday, drove my car to the Walmart
(about 20 miles), met them there, left my car and we started our 4.5 hour trip,
leaving the area at around 6 AM, did not need to stop for Breakfast, and
arrived at the Seminar just as it started. We left as soon as it was over and
stopped to eat and the Cheston’s treated me. They are so special! We arrived
back at Walmart at about 8 PM and I got gas with my last $5 thinking I would
have enough to get to Church and back. Then I realized I had an appointment on
Wednesday and I needed to drive to Upper Marlboro (44 miles each way). So I
didn’t go to Church but I live streamed and it was amazing, I love my Church, I
am sooo taught the Word of God. The message was “A Call to Righteousness”. (www.fthcm.org).
The seminar in NC, was confirmation of things I knew and Information
on things I didn’t. In relationship to my last blog, Dr. Daggy (head of
Research and Development at Shaklee Corp) spoke of the need for Supplements
because we don’t eat right and even if we did, the nutrients are no longer in
the foods that we eat today (Did you know that farm raised Salmon has half the
Omega3, because they eat what they are fed?).
Dr. Daggy mentioned how the people who regulate farming and
food production have the following criteria they are concerned with:
- High Yield, more produce
per acre. (There is only so much nutrition in the soil, doubling the
production means less nutrition in the produce.
- Pest Control (Pesticides)
- Weed Control (Herbacides)
- Frost Control
- Drought Control
- Ease of Machinery use
- Transportable (will it travel
long distances well?)
- Long storage {preservatives)
- Appearance in the store
Did you wonder what GMO’s are? It means Genetically Modified,
modifying plants and animals to be “superior” in different ways.
Notice what is not on the list: NEUTRIENT VALUE!
BEWARE: When Greed and profit are the motivating factors, (that
applies to anything). The adversary wants us to be focused on things and
systems of this world, not the way God intended things to be.
Self check: Are we caught up in the systems of this
world? Have we forgotten God’s plan for
our lives? Are we too captured by the “system” that we make the choice of:
Convenience over Health?
Work, greed, ”getting ahead”, over
God’s plan?
The World’s system over God’s
system?
Do we even know God’s system?
One of the quotes Dr. Daggy gave:
“Medical Science has made such progress, that
there are hardly any healthy people left.”
Who is managing your
health? Are you waiting for a total
breakdown of your health, to put your life in the hands of profit based
Insurance Companies that create the “Medical System”? The Doctors get very little Nutritional
information in school, but lots of drug knowledge. (I just ask “Dr. Google and learned
that there are 141 Medical Schools in the USA, only 28 have required Nutrition
courses for their Degree program).
What they didn’t get in school, regarding Prescription
Medications and “Protocol”, the “Drug Dealers” (Pharmaceutical Reps), will
teach them at their “Drug lunches”, (Free lunches in their office). What they give or prescribe to you is “controlled”
by protocol of the Medical system. (If you have this…take this.)
Ask your Doctor how much training they have had in Nutrition? Also ask them if they take Vitamins. I ask my
Doctors because I want to know where they are coming from. The male Doctors say, “Whatever my wife gives
me.” And most of the female Doctors said Centrum C, or another synthetic Multivitamin.
( Our cells don’t eat synthetics, they just react to them).
Dr. Shaklee said,” The Medical field is interested in
treating disease, I’m interested in building health.”
Another blessing I received was a Shaklee water filter, for
my Shaklee water pitcher. I had
forgotten to order a new filter and the Chestons brought one with them for
me. I was having to buy water to drink
and now with the filter, I can make eighty gallons of purified water (without
lead and other contaminants) just from the water coming into my RV from the
park, with just the one filter. Wow,
what a blessing! They accepted one of the Shaklee gifts I got from the drawing,
that I won, in exchange for it. Isn’t
God good?

Hear my Heart, my Passion
September 27, 20018
Back home again in Colonial Beach, VA.
My "ducks" are getting back in the area, but not all lined up yet. I have my home (RV) back, my car back, and one computer back. My Liver is still being held hostage by the Insurance Company's but I have made a little progress, but that "duck" is not lined up yet.
Life is such an adventure when you are going with God, and you don't need to know where you are going until He lets you know. I'm alright with that, because I know He loves me, has my best interest at heart, protects me, provides for me, heals me. works everything together for my good, and knows the future, WOW, what a deal! He also said that, "no weapon formed against thee (me) shall prosper..." Isaiah 54:17 OK, so what is there to worry or fret about? This life is His deal, God created the Earth with everything in it I need. He created me for His purpose, He knows me better that I do, He only asks that I serve him, be obedient and love Him and others, He sent His only Son, Jesus to die in payment for my sins so I can have eternal life with Him when I am finished doing His work on this Earth. My job is to Flourish to the Finish (Grow luxuriantly, thrive, succeed, and be an example and influence for the next generations and beyond,) If you don't have clarity on what God has for you to do yet, you can't go wrong "Flourishing to the finish". So I give you permission to work my job with me until you get clarity.๐
I heard a portion of "60 Minutes" the other day and it impacted me highly. It was about the Hurricanes and how the Netherlands deal with storms. If you didn't see it, it was about this guy who was like an Ambassador for water management. He was going around to the places that have had hurricane damage, and preaching the "gospel of prevention" instead of "reaction". Basically, 90% of the Netherlands is below sea level and since they put in place their "water & storm management systems", they have had no storm damage and no one in the country has flood insurance. They used to have lots of damage because of storms and now they don't. OK, why? Because the spent a lot of money before the storms, that they knew were coming one day, to prevent the damage when they came.
We in the USA spend billions more money on each storm in the "clean up" process, not to mention loss of life. In other words, we are very prepared to react to the storms but not willing to sacrifice in advance to prevent the damage of future storms that we know will come. It is a MINDSET!
The same is true of other things like health and the environment. We are willing to go broke as a Nation caring for the sick, elderly and obese than educating and teaching prevention and a healthy lifestyle. We would rather alter the food supply with grease, sugar, salt, chemicals and synthetic additives, preservatives, to make things taste good and look good, and for convenience, shelf life, instant gratification, etc... than take the extra time, effort and preparation, to do it right. We would rather take (sometimes harmful and always with a side effect) medications to take away the symptoms rather than prevent the high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity in the first place.
Have we forgotten how God made our bodies with only cells, and they only eat FOOD, (Vitamins, Protein, Minerals, Carbohydrates and Fats)? Our cells reproduce after their kind, either good kind or bad kind, depending on what WE FEED THEM. When we give our cells what they eat and thrive on, (healthy unaltered food), they are equipped and designed to heal and keep themselves well. Well, when we feed our cells, altered food, with additives, preservatives, hormones, GMO's etc..., foods that are grown on depleted soil...those cells will reproduce weak, unhealthy cells, unable to fight disease and sustain a healthy life.. On top of that, we breath chemical laden air, and drink polluted, chemical-ized water, and wonder why we are sick (the USA is ranked 37th in World health and #1 in health care expense per capita). EVERYTHING THAT WE FEED OUR CELLS, THAT IS NOT FOOD, CAUSES THE CELLS TO REACT( that is why Medicine works, when it does, and why it always has side effects.) The cells then use up the nutrients meant to build health, to fight off the non food (even synthetic Vitamins)... MINDSET! We are too spoiled, weak or sick to make the sacrifice to eat the way God intended us to eat. Even if we did, the nutrition is no longer in the food supply the way God intended, it has been altered. We are living longer, sicker and we seem to be surprised when it appears in our lives.
So, what do we do? Well, what I do is eat Vegan and take clinically proven Shaklee Food Supplements, use Shaklee biodegradable non-polluting cleaning products and Shaklee's Natural healthy skin care without the harmful chemicals! The Shaklee population has been proven (in a 20 year Clinical Landmark Study) to be markedly healthier than the general population and even those who took other supplements.
I am 76 and on no medication, feel good, no aches, no pains, in my right mind, and good memory and focus, my face has "baby" skin and all of my blood work is normal. (I just have this liver thing that gives me no trouble.) The cool thing is, I used to have aches, pains, high blood pressure, a stroke, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, precancerous lesions in my colon, PMS issues, arthritis, sinus issues, etc... when I was younger. So I don't wish to be younger, I like my health!
I believe, if we do it God's way, our health can and will improve. After 44 years of using the Shaklee Products I know I am healthier than I was 44 years ago and I feel better too. Every Shaklee product is guaranteed so if you don't get the results you are looking for, you will get your money back.
I am happy to be your "guinea pig", so you know that the INTEGRITY of the Shaklee products is real and I believe, as close to the real thing (Nature) as we can get on the market today, they are designed that way.
So, I also give you permission to treat your body well, it is the only one you will have, and it has to house you (the real you) until you leave it here and move on...either up or down-your choice.
I am so convinced that I have been given a wonderful gift of health in a Country and World that is against it! My desire is that all of you will take this opportunity to at least try the Shaklee Products, and if you don't feel better in 30 days or less, you can send (even the empty container back) for a full refund.
If you call or text me,(301-580-2824) I can send you (via email or text) a health assessment (HealthPrint) that will guide you in what to try, for your own health. You can also go on my website: www.healthierlife-4U.myshaklee.com
You have heard my heart today, I have to share my passion. Love you all so much and thank you for hearing my heart, I really want you to have Jesus and Health (in that order).

WOW1 Only 4 days since I blogged! I just had to tell you about my Birthday week. It was awesome. I was still in Waldorf, parked in my RV at Kevin & Sina's house(my best friend Ronnie's son and wife). Monday I was picked up by my friend Sarah and her husband and they took me back to their house. The next day Sarah and I went to Baltimore to do an all day evaluation for her Kidney transplant. My Birthday started when Sarah took me to lunch at Timbuktoo's ( a great crab cake place). We didn't have crab cakes but had a wonderful salad and baked potato and fellowship (I'm still vegan).
That evening, I went to Bible Study and caught a ride back to the RV with my first adopted family. The next day I was getting ready to take the RV out to get some supplies I needed for some centerpieces I was making and it wouldn't start I called Roadside assistance and they gave me a jump. After I got the supplies and returned I wanted to get closer to the electric outlet and ended up backing over the elec. cord and pulling it out of the RV! Just 3 bare wires on the end of the cord. This meant no electric and no generator (or air conditioning, phone charger, microwave, fan etc...). Kevin came home just after it happened and discovered it. He offered to fix it and at 9 o'clock at night with a flashlight, he repaired it so I had electric (I didn't even have to go outside)! Praise the Lord and thank you Kevin!
Thursday the Murray;s came and picked me up for lunch at the Silver Diner. They gave me a beautiful card and a scripture wall calendar with awesome scenic pictures. I adopted our waiter and all of the wait staff came to sing "Happy Birthday" over my bowl of fruit. One young lady asked me what my name was so they could sing, I told her "Grandma Swann" and that I was up for adoption. She came over and hugged me saying "you can't have too many Grandmas" (My sentiments exactly!)
Friday, on my Birthday, I just did my blog and chilled (I didn't even get dressed). Lots of friends and family called or sent texts, it was wonderful.
Saturday morning my Daughter picked me up and we drove to Alexandria to treat me to breakfast with Everett at the American Steak and Buffet. After a great meal and fellowship, the wait staff sang "Happy Birthday" over a piece of cheese cake with a make-shift straw "candle", I rigged up, with a piece of lemon as the flame. Confession: I took a few bites of the cheese cake๐.
After Breakfast, LaVonne asked me if I wanted to go "Uber Eats" delivering with her. It was fun and I learned how it works. People go on the Uber Eats app and order the food, an Ubre Eats dilivery person (can be in car, or foot, bicycle, etc) that is in the area and on line, gets the name of the restaurant and directions. They pick up the food and deliver it to the customers. Cool and convenient! The customer pays for the food and tip through the app., they can see the driver, and when they come...all from the app.. The customer and driver and restaurant are all reviewed by each other, to keep each other straight. It was fun.
Then LaVonne dropped me off at the nail salon where I had adopted a Vietnamese Grandson. Sarah had been to the Salon earlier and we usually go together. My Grandson said to her, "Where is my Grandmother, I miss my Grandmother." Sarah told me what he said, and I texted him and told him I missed him too and that I would be by to get my nails done. He did a beautiful job on my nails and then LaVonne was going to pick me up, but Long said he would take me back to the RV. He let me get a chair massage while I was waiting. Awesome!
He brought me back and I had him sit in the drivers seat, he said "you need license to drive, My Grandmother?" I told him just a regular license. He was impressed.
I still don't have my car back yet, so I wasn't able to get to church, I streamed (www.fthcm.org).
After church my first adopted family came by the RV and brought me a wonderful card and gave me a gift card for Red Lobster. They are so special!
After they left,Tyrone & Tony, two of my Grandmen-sons came by with Steve, a Grandman I hadn't met yet, who I adopted. They brought flowers, juice, chips and a cake with Happy Birthday Grandma on it. I had made taco soup and salad and we had the best fellowship! I was especially impressed because they chose to hang out with their Grandma on a football Sunday!
Monday I headed out for Colonial Beach. Well, I started to head out. Again the RV wouldn't start, just clicked. I called roadside assistance again and they gave me another jump. Then I headed out and I turned the radio on and they was a tornado warning for Waldorf (the town I was just leaving). I was heading South, so I kept on going. (I didn't hear of any tornado touch downs.) I crossed the "Nice" bridge, which is not so nice (two lanes, narrow and high and long with tractor-trailers coming at you). The first day I had the RV I had to drive it, and I learned that you STAY IN YOUR LANE AND TRUST GOD! That works and that'll PREACH!
After crossing the bridge, I stopped for gas (it is 35 cents per gal. cheaper in Virginia) and turned the engine off. YES I TURNED IT OFF! Of course, I couldn't get it started again, so I had to call Roadside assistance again. So it took awhile to get to Colonial Beach and I had planned to stop to get groceries and supplies before I got to the RV Park...but it was already dusk, so I skipped Walmart and went on. I got in too late to hook up everything, so I just hooked up the electric. I really needed to empty the tanks, oh well.
I had a wonderful nights sleep and I went out this morning to hook up and it started to rain,(it wasn't supposed to rain) so I decided to wait until it stopped. Then my "go-to-RV-guy" and his son showed up this afternoon, and in the rain, fixed my electric, found the problem with the RV not starting (corroded terminals) and fixed it and hooked me up to sewage, and water and dumped the tanks. Wow, what a blessing, and again I didn't even have to get out of the RV! Awesome God!, Awesome AJ & Joe of Northern Neck RV Repair (804-873-8754) they are honest, fair priced and know everything RV and automotive, and will come to you (within a reasonable distance, but not over the "Nice" bridge)! ๐
I guess that is about it, I feel very loved and cared for. First by God, and then by my wonderful family. Thank you for my memorable Birthday!

Happy 76th Birthday to me!
I am getting better, this is 14 days since I blogged last. If I keep cutting the time by half, I will soon be on target and my blogs may get shorter (don't count on it).๐
Well, I feel the need to give you a "STATE OF GRANDMA SWANN" address;
At 76 I feel 40, I just had a blood test, EVERYTHING IS NORMAL.
I am in no pain, I just lost 10 lbs, I have been Vegan for a year and a half.
My skin on my face has less wrinkles and is soft and like baby skin.
I am alert, excited and my memory and focus is better than even last year.
I am looking forward to the future, am excited about what God has in store for me!
My Motor Home is my home, and I am free to go wherever the Lord leads me.
I have traveled all 50 states, 8 foreign countries, and 15 states in my current RV home
The Lord has blessed me with a Step Daughter, 1. Step-Daughter-in-Law, 4 Step Grand Children, 3 Step-Granddaughters-In-Law, 3 Step Great-Grandchildren, and 253 adopted Grand Children and counting. I love them all individually and pray for them daily.
I went Parasailing on my 70th Birthday, Hang Gliding on my 74th and plan some other stuff.
I have attended From the Heart Church Ministries for 33 years, I have learned so much and deepened my relationship with the Lord from the teachings.( www.fthcm.org or official fthcm youtube channel.)
I trust God to protect, provide, heal, have my best interest at heart, love me, and know the future. and He has not, nor will not, fail me, and as a result, I have PEACE and NO STRESS!!! (priceless!)
I am on no Medication, I believe because I have been consuming natural (better than organic) Shaklee products for 44 years. I have had High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Cataracts, Stroke, Precancerous Lesions in my Colon, and a major operation last year to remove a simple Cyst (water balloon) in my liver. The ONLY thing I am dealing with now is that the Liver Cyst has grown back to half the size. The last medication to go, was for High Blood Pressure, I haven't needed it for over two years.
I have a successful Shaklee business that has paid me every month (whether I worked it or not) , since 1974. Both my husband and I were full-time since 1976, except for 2 ,six year periods, while pursuing our Ministries (but we still got paid every month from Shaklee). I have been blessed to walk the stage at the Shaklee conventions as having earned over a Million Dollars. We have earned free Vacations every year for many years, and 11 Bonus cars.
If you would like to know how to earn while you help others to better health, (and while you sleep), and be a business owner, with all the freedom and tax benefits, contact me and you can see if it is a fit for you. If you would like a free health assessment, go to my website: www.healthierlife-4U.MyShaklee.com, and click on "Health Print". It takes about 5 Minutes to complete. Free Membership is available too.
Thank you for the calls, songs and blessings for my Birthday. I am so blessed to have you in my life!
I love my life and I love you!

Sept. 1, 2018
Wow, just a little over a month since I blogged, I am doing better, there is hope for me yet! Well, my "ducks" seem to fly around up in the air a lot, but always land and get in line at exactly the right time. I'm getting it..."All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Rom. 8:28
Again, life is soooo eventful! I must (and I do) trust God, because other stuff doesn't always look or seem good at the time, and I never know until things "work together", and then... Praise the Lord! If I didn't trust God, I would be worried and stressed out all the time. As it is, I have no stress and I don't have to worry. I love my life. enjoy my 250+ adoptees, (some of you, probably just got stressed for me๐). I found the smiley faces!!woopee!
I got one of my computers back, Praise the Lord! I learned that I can live without one, Jesus managed to get His message out without one, and He left us with His Holy Spirit, we haven't even begun to tap His power!
My adopted grandson, Joseph, from Chicago, (I met him 2 years ago in Palm Desert, CA) went home to be with the Lord Jesus, last Saturday. We had just spent a wonderful week together while attending the Shaklee Conference in Las Vegas. We stayed in a 2 room cabin in the RV park which had all the amenities of a Hotel, including a pool and hot tub. He cooked some veggies on the grill, and we had good veggie fajitas for two dinners.
After the Conference was over, which he enjoyed very much, we drove to Zion National Park and loved all of the beautiful scenery. There was a new breathtaking view every 10 seconds or so, we both took a lot of pictures, he loved God's creation. We spent the day driving, stopping, taking pictures, expressing "oohs and aahs" to each other along the way. I will miss him greatly, he had such a sweet spirit.
He is no longer struggling with his addiction to heroin. He had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, so I will see him when I am finished , it has given me a greater zeal to seek and save the lost. He taught me so much about "judging" based on appearance, (tattoos, etc..), And to love those "missing their behavior", and helped me to see how God sees them. He had his BS degree and loved animals, all animals, and had lizards and a hedgehog as pets. He was very articulate and a good writer. He told me he was writing a book about his journey with drugs so others might not go down that path. I still remember all the good talks we had, he had such a good heart and cared for others and was so helpful.
The impact of his life is not over, and my prayer is that those who read this, even if you didn't have the joy of knowing him personally, will catch on fire to save those who don't know the devastation of the consequences of bad choices.
I have my house back!(for those not following, I totaled my RV). My RV passed inspection, was re-titled and I got my tags renewed the last day before they expired! Praise the Lord! It looks awesome! They painted it all, including the stripes and it looks brand new! I still don't have my car back yet, but he is still working on it. When it is finished, he said is would run for another 100,000 miles.
The insurance companies are still holding my liver hostage until they figure out who is going to pay for the MRI. I turned in the hearing aids I bought on the last day I could return them and get my money back, and I already got my money back. I found out that my current Medical Insurance will pay $750.00 towards new ones that are not just amplifiers (which that one one was), that the Doctor said would ruin my hearing). I will be able to get them for both ears for $1,250. My insurance will also cover dental and eyes, so I will be making some appointments while I am still here.
The annual stay in Colonial Beach RV Park, (that I paid for last year, and didn't use), was extended to this year. I didn't use it this year, so they graciously extended it to next year. (Praise the Lord!) I can still stay for 21 days, out a week, and back in again for 21 days until they close in November. Waiting on God's plan for my life, only His plan works (I just usually don't know what it is except on a need to know basis.
After getting my tags yesterday, Kevin and Sina are allowing me to stay in their yard in Waldorf, MD, hooked up to water and elec. for the weekend. I blew the circuit when I turned on the air conditioner and I had to use the fans, which let me know I can live without the air conditioner, although I'm not that excited about it at 90 degrees.. I will be picked up by my Host's to go back in their car for Church tomorrow.
Have a Blessed safe Labor Day Weekend!

Almost 3 months ago, was my last blog, but that doesn't mean it was an uneventful time Since my life is being used by the Lord, it has never been uneventful, and always so blessed and exciting. Keep in mind, there is an amazing story with each of these events that I may get to, one day (or put in the book) but now I will be brief.

Both of my computers are out for repairs, It is why I haven't blogged, I am using my Tablet.
My RV Home was totaled but is getting repaired. Since it has less than 50,000 miles on it, and is getting fixed like new, it will be like a new house. God is so good, and so is AJ and Joe, his Son, of Northern Neck RV!
They are fixing everything, including a new toilet, a new floor, window latches, etc.. They even found out what the strange flapping noise was. It was the starter that was causing feedback in the surround sound system. Wow! I .have to have the RV inspected after the repairs are done so I can get a new Title. Guess who the inspector is? You guessed it, my "go-to-RV-guy"!!! By the way, he and his whole family have adopted me.
My Honda CRV cut off while driving on BW Parkway, while taking my hosts to the Airport. I was able to pull over enough to get out of the traffic lane and waited 5 hours for a tow truck. Their son came and got them to the Airport on time.
I had 3 towing services (now I have 4). When the tow truck finally came, it was pouring down rain, cars had been whizzing by all day, so close, that if I had opened my door, it probably would have been raked off. I didn't want to open my door, so as I decided to be safe and climb over to the passenger side, I looked and all the of the traffic had come to a standstill! I was able to get out and into the truck. As soon as I got safely into the tow truck, the traffic, started whizziing again. Go God! Also, the whole time sitting there with no place to go, I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM! (For those of you that know me, that is a miracle!!
The CRV, has a blown timing belt and bent valves, and is being fixed by my "go-to-RV-guy" who is a Honda mechanic with experience doing 100's of valve jobs, (who knew?)-God did!!!

HEALTH UPDATE:
They discovered another liver cyst, half as big as the one that burst and they operated on last September.
I am in no pain or discomfort. My health insurance changed and doesn't cover anything from the hospital where I was...so my new Doctor is requesting that they accept it so I won't have to start over or pay out of pocket.
I had a flare-up of a fungus infection under my arm that is finally going away after 3 weeks. I slipped while getting out of the tow truck and twisted my. Knee, I can still walk, but I understand "trick" knee, but it is getting better too.
I took a bath in Baking Soda, not realizing that it was Sodium and my blood pressure went up, but it came back down.
Bottom line is, I am blessed and doing well, God takes such good care of me when I am patien, and let him work things out, it is always for my good!
Our Worldwid Church Conference was a huge success and a real example of togetherness. It was so wonderful seeing Members and friends from around the world (from 6 Continents).
We had a change in leadership as our Bishop took over the Worldwide responsibilities from our Founding Episcopal Pastor. I attended as well as Volunteered, and it was an eventful week with sessions day and night, a Family Fun Day on Saturday, when we took over the whole Ft. Washington Park! Sunday was BIG Sunday with the installation and Honors, it was great, and God was glorified!

The patch looks good!
May 4,2018
I am in
Scottsboro, Alabama, visiting my friend at Unclaimed Baggage. She
recognized me, but didn't connect until I said, “Grandma Swann”.
She didn't know I was coming, because I didn't know until this
afternoon at about 3 PM. I was a the Cracker Barrel overnight in
Murfreesboro aI dfter having a very productive Shaklee appt. with
Ronnie's Granddaughter. OK, let me back up to where I left you,
which was before I flew back to Nashville, Tennessee.
May 1- I
drove the rental car to Dulles Airport and I didn't arrive at the
rental drop-off, until 5:12 for my 6 AM flight. I parked the car,
the attendant said I could leave it, the shuttle was waiting, I got
on and went to the ticket counter, which was empty (they had closed
ticketing). I got to the counter and they decided to give me a
courtesy late boarding pass with no guarantee that I would make the
plane. I thanked them and went to the bathroom (when you gotta go
you gotta go), headed for security. NO LINES! Wow! Is God good, I
made it through security and what A Blessing!, the plane was right
around the corner (I didn't have to wait for the people carrier), and
I was the last person on the plane! Praise the Lord! Did you know?
They will only give you one glass of water free, and then you have to
buy a 16 ounce bottle of water for $3.99? Wow, when you go cheap, it
is really cheap. I had a ticket that would only allow a personal
item unless you pay for luggage. I only had my lap-top bag, no
clothes, as I had clothes in the Motor Home. I met some wonderful
people, gave them my Shaklee/blog card, after getting their
information.
I had an
hour and a half drive after I arrived in Nashville, so I decided to
schedule an Uber ride. I had not received confirmation that I had a
driver until the plane(which was 45 minutes late) was taxiing and he
text me to say “where are you?” I connected with him, his name
was Lorenzo, and he didn't know how far or where I was going. It was
his first Airport run, I was concerned that it would be too far for
him, but guess what? He lived 8 miles beyond where I was going! Is
that God or what? We addopted each other and he was wonderful! A
very articulate young man 32 years old, with a degree in
Communication and an event planner. It didn't take up all of his
time so he drove Uber. We exchanged information and I forgot to save
it and lost it, I pray that he will reach out to me, I did give him
my card.
After we
arrived at the RV repair shop, he waited until I got straight before
he left. I went inside and they presented me a bill for $388. After
I told them, I had not authorized that much of a job, and that I
couldn't pay that much, they ask me how much I could pay, I said
about half, they gave me a bill for $144. After I saw what they did,
I was sorry I couldn't pay more. They fixed it with tape and
repaired the hole in the back, so it is hard to tell that it was
damaged. I could very well live in it as it is. I sent the pictures
of the repair job to my insurance Guy and he may not have to put
“salvage” on the title. God is still Good!
After
getting back “home” again, it really feels like home. I went to
the grocery store and got some supplies and went to a small country
gas station to get gas. I saw a wooden sign sticking out close to
the pumps, but I thought I could clear it, until I heard an all too
familiar scraping sound. I stopped in time and the sign was right
against the roof-line and I had stopped just 2 inches before the
awning would have been damaged. AGAIN? NO, THERE WAS NO DAMAGE
THANK GOD! I had to have help maneuvering free, but all is well! I
debated whether to drive 70 miles to a Thousand Trails RV Park to
dump the tanks and get water and stay the night or go to an RV Park
close by. I opted for the latter. This blog is too long already to
describe the events that happened there, but I had a great quiet,
peaceful and productive 2 nights there, getting organized and
chilling. To be continued...
