YIKES!! No phone calls

Nov 14, 2018

Yesterday I had no phone service, YIKES!!!  No calls in or out and I couldn't even call Verizon to get help.  It said I was not connected.  I tried to call them from my Tablet, through wifi,  but to do that I needed a phone connection so I could set up the APP.  I asked my next door neighbor (who had Verizon and his phone was fine), to call me to see if it would ring, it didn't and it went to voice mail on his end.  Wow, I tried everything I could think of, then decided to go to a Verizon store in the area.  I did (it was nice to have the car) and learned something I already knew,  TRUST GOD that "all things work together for good to those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose," Rom 8:28
Guess what my new Grandson did to fix it????   He turned it off and back on again.  That was it!   WALAH, FIXED!!!   I took my Tablet in also, and was able to get it set up to make calls with WiFi if it ever happens again, so it was a wonderful trip, I gained information, got my Tablet set up, and adopted an awesome Grandson  who is 31, knows Jesus, unchurched and in engaged to be married in 2020.  He made it official by giving me his information.

Life is soooo good when you can trust God that every challenge is going to work out for your good, no matter what it is.  Father knows best, stick with His plan and get excited about the adventurous outcome.  If I am not excited about the outcome, it is likely that I am in fear, stressed, anxiety, etc....  Fear is not of God and has no place in His Kingdom (Heaven or earth),  It is the adversary's plan to distract us from trusting God.  Are we afraid of death?  Jesus saved us from that, with Eternal life.  Painful outcomes?  Going through pain and suffering makes us stronger for the next one.  If we wimp out, every trial will be worse than the first and harder to deal with because we haven't become stronger to deal with it.  It is all in the growing up process.

I went to the pool when I got back and for the last two days there have only been folks from Oregon there.  Two couples and me.  Good conversation.  I got more acquainted with Teresa and we have a lot in common.  She does crafts and sells them on Ebay while she is on the road full time.  http://stores.ebay.com/grandmasatticandsweets
She has published two RV Cook books and a book about child molestation.  She has done her genealogy as I have and is a history buff.  She has read the book series, "Wagon Train"  and said she would loan me the first book, and we will be together in the Fla. parks from time to time and when I finish she will loan the next one to me.  Both sides of my family landed in America before the revolutionary war and went to Oregon by wagon train, so I am very interested in the books.  We had a good time in the pool while getting our exercise.  Oh, by the way, she used to raise Pot-Bellied pigs and sell them. Sounds like my kind of gal!

I got some more Spanish moss and brought it back to the RV in my hands.  On the way back a lady cautioned me about "chiggers", tiny bugs that can get under your skin and create red itchy bumps.  She suggested I microwave the moss, which I did.  I read up on it and it seems to be a problem only if it has been on the ground for a while.

Tomorrow I will be leaving this park to go about an hour and 20 minutes to Clermont, Fla which is about 18 miles from Orlando.  I will be there 3 weeks then back here for 2 weeks.
