WOMENS RETREAT IN THE HIGH DESERT

 

10-1-22

I woke up this morning at Washington ranch, Antelope, Oregon, at a Women’s retreat sponsored by Journey Church of Bend, the Church I attended for the first time on Sunday.  Brenda drove me to the retreat and it was about a 2 hourdrive from Bend and the last 12 miles on a gravel road.  It is in the high desert and warmer that Bend at night.  Before I went to the first session, I couldn’t find my jeans that I had just seen last night, I was very disorganized and I didn’t sleep well last night and was very slow getting dressed.  I couldn’t turn on the showers and felt very inept and “old”.  Finally, I cast out the devil after realizing what was going on.

 I finally got dressed and was the last one heading out for the session after missing Breakfast.  I had my Shaklee shake and supplements before I went and the session was quite a walk away and as I was coming into the lobby area, preparing to go outside to walk to the session, Sandy came in and asked me if I wanted to ride to the session in her car.  She was going to her room and would be back.  Meanwhile, Delinda, one of my 7 roomates, needed a ride too and we all went together in the car, Deb, also.  I had ridden with Sandy and Deb last night to the first session.

Our first session today was to encounter and talk to God and ask Him.  What are the lies I live?

9-30-22  First session

God is faithful, we need to be faithful

It is understandable how we got there (where we are) but lean into potential for growth.

Build an experience, creation gave us instructions that lead to an experience.

The Bible is a Library.  Teaches us who and why.

In the midst of chaos, God said, LET THERE BE LIGHT! The lier shows up creating doubt and disbelief.  God says choose me, I am faithful.

We can live, Jesus never does the same thing twice.  The Bible is a indow to see Jesus.  Jesus came to show us what God’s all about.

JESUS DIDN’T CARE WHAt PEOPLE THOUGHT ABOUT HIM.  He knew where He came from and He knew where He was going.

Tune your ears toward the voice of God.

JESUS IS THE VISIBLE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD. Col.1:15

Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

We are here to know who we are and who God is.

Assignment:  Ask Jesus if there was a time he was with me and I didn’t know he was with me?

Session 2, 10-2-22 Saturday AM

In the midst of chaos, what do you, Father God, want me to know?

John 1:14  Thoughts become words that become flesh in our body.

1Thes. 5:21 Rest everything, hold fast what is God.

Devil: Religion and death

Father God: Relationship and life.

Submission means: Establish under purpose.

Learn the tone and texture of Jesus’s voice:

            Truth with hope

            Produces peace & encouragement

            Freedom IN circumstances

The enemy produces: Fear, guilt and shame

When you hear from God: Habakkah 4  Stand, watch, write and wait.

The goal is intimacy with Father God, not right theology, worldly success, good feelings or perfect living.  (these may be the fruit of the Spirit).

“Do” things from LOVE, not for God. Zephaniah 3:17

1John 1:9  Sin is separation.

I will do what I believe.   Freely admit the lies I live.  Pray.  Write down the lies.

Confessing the truth in schripture, ask for forgiveness.

Ask: “Is there anything else you want me to know?” Eph 3:16-21

10-1-22 Session 3 Sat night

Let the facts be interpreted by the truth of God, not the devils lies.  Ask the Holy Spirit to interpret the “facts” to you”, Jesus is that you?  Watch out for the spirit of religion.  Call out the lies!

The enemies lies are to isolate us and destroy us.  Jesus brings light.

We need Community. (Rom 8) Mature Children of God, those who are animated by the Spirit of God.

1.      Discern with the Holy Spirit

2.     Discern together

3.     Ask for confirmation

Find the people you connect with.

BE A PLAYER COACH

When you engage with spiritual disciplines’, they don’t make you Holy. (Personal righteousness) IT IS BEING AVAILABLE!

God is faithful, even when we aren’t.  BE AVAILABLE FOR GOD TO HEAL US AND MEET HIM FACE TO FACE.  Make us attentive.

Emotions are indicators not dictators.  Ask Jesus what is true.

Anger is fear’s body guard.  Fear is a mask that sadness wears.

God will go with us.

Deny the false identity.

Study to know the names and meanings of the names of God.  Underline the ones you are familiar with and circle those you need to know more about.

Be not conformed to the patterns of the world, but be conformed to the word of God.

Come to God with confession, not apology.

What is the ID or name tag plastered on me?  Is it a lie?  Call it out, not true in the name of Jesus!

Jesus, what do you call me?

The devil has no new tricks, he wil come as you the same way each time yyou haven’t changed.

We need an Abigail- ISam: 25

Our bodies are Christ’s home, my heart is God’s home.

What if God was on speaker phone?

Put out belief in action.  Ask, Jesus, is there anything you want me to know?

Always call when a face or name comes up.  “You were on my heart today, how can I help?”

Those who refresh others will be refreshed. “Let’s ask God together.”

The voice of God is available to all.  Ask Father God.  We need to be emptied before we can receive.  What is in you that keeps you from a relationship with Father God?  Where does it live in your body?

Father God, what do you want me to know today?  It isn’t until we hear what Father God says about us, that we can imitate His love.

Ask God what so you want me to do today? What do you want to plant in me today?  Just ask Him anything.

Everywhere you go you carry the Spirit of God with you.  Pull up a chair to the table where Jesus and the Holy Spirit are talking together, ask them, what are they talking about me.

It’s not about where you are going or what you are doing, it is about who He has made you to BE.

10-2-22 Sunday closing session

When I open my mouth to praise Him, he opens His and fills me.

One violin in perfect tune with another resonates with the frequency. 

Every negative emotion is an opportunity for God to heal you.  We are fighting from a place of victory.  We are in a battle.

I must come to terms with my limits.

The reason why we are trained is because I Corn 14:3, Psalms 107:1-2

The last session was wonderful testimonies from the heart of those who heard from Father God and Jesus and how they were transformed.

 

Father, I love you and thank you for keeping me from hurt, harm or danger when I fell coming into the session.  I was not hurt at all and a lady came immediately to pray for me.  They had small step downs for the amphitheater style venue. 

The assignment for meditation and allowing Father God to talk to us. “What lies am I living”?  Please show me.

My Child, I love you, I have you and I delight in you.  I have searched your heart and your conduit and I can see doubt and disbelief in your heart as to the vision I gave you.  I have the vision and I am causing it to come into being, it is mine.  You are facilitating it by being who you are, not what you do, but what I do through you.  I just need you to believe and move in my will, as you do.

I have you.  The adversary does not want you to be in my will and he is after you to destroy you and your impact.  You were protected and you knew it and responded very well.  You trust me so, and I appreciate that.  I have a mighty work for you to do.  I needed you to be clear and clean with Joan and it was the first step of the journey to Bend.  It is not over but developing, and I am showing you much in and through the process.  Seek my face with all that happens with you.  I am orchestrating everything that happens to you for my purpose.  You are yielded to me and I have you.  This journey as you are beginning to see, is way bigger that you are, and you will see as time goes on.  I can trust you and I appreciate your belief in the vision as is continues to develop.  Just operate in my will.  Do not move from the path I have set you on.  I am your source and delight and hope and strength.  Walk it out, comfort my people, seek my face, call on my name, rest in me.

Father, thank you for showing me my unbelief surrounding the vision., help me to believe and grow and develop the belief and trust and operate in strength in you.  Don’t let my small thinking and self-doubt stop you from accomplishing your goals for the vision.  Your will be done in my lifetime, what you have willed for me to do.  Keep me submitted to you, not swayed or distracted from what your will is for my life.  I have you fully and you have me fully, I love you with all of my heart.

Thank you, my child, I delight in you, carry on.

I started walking back toward the dining hall and the session and got halfway and a lady was driving by in a pickup toward the same place and offered me a ride.  A lady was sitting in the front seat and she jumped out and got in the bed of the pickup where three other ladies were.  I was so grateful because it was a ways for me.

I got there for lunch and the food was served by several servers, family style.  They all lined up in the kitchen each with trays loaded with the whole meal for each table.  After prayer, they played music and clapped as they all came out in a line and went to their various tables.  There were other people from all over the area, other than the Journey church, and there was about 100 here from Journey Church, and seemed like around 300 total.  The ones that ran the program, and served, and the staff of the place, were all associated with Young Life.  The Woman’s retreat was advertised on face book and other churches and it was interesting to meet so many Ladies.  It was great.  Everyone seemed to be there because they wanted a closer walk with God, the theme was FAITHFUL. 

The sessions were done by Emily Jamieson, she is a Mother of four young boys and very engaging and funny and real. 

I went to a water color painting class with Brenda and it was very relaxing.  I stayed on that side and chilled out in a rocking chair, and met a lady with Japanese heritage who was very cool.  We will keep in touch, she is from Takoma, Wash.

We had a wonderful session after dinner which was great too. 

After the session we went back and I got to talk with Sandy that had given me a ride several times back and forth.  Turned out that she was also married to a black man and we got to share our stories.  He husband passed away with cancer right after covid hit.

10-2-22

I woke up and was very much like an old Lady moving slow, loosing stuff, like my hearing aids and slow getting dressed, etc..  We had to check out by 9:30 with the room and bathroom spotlessly clean.  All my roomates worked in unity around me and they got it done.  Brenda was impressed by the unity.  At first, I couldn’t understand why I was operating that way.  I felt like I was being orchestrated to act like an old Lady so they would have the opportunity to work together much like the Kingdom of God on Earth is supposed to.  I saw a lot of the examples of that in operation here.  On the way, driving home, Brenda agreed with that because she had seen me operate before.

The last session was awesome too.  Each one who wanted to share told what they received, mostly how we identified ourselves and who Father God and Jesus showed them they were.  I thought I was dishonored, which was a LIE!  I shared that I was a remarkable old lady, a bridge, an ambassador and an influence for the next generations.  After the session, Brenda wanted to go down for prayer and I asked her if she wanted me to go with her.  She said yes and we were the first ones going down.  The teacher of the painting class was there to pray with her.  I was able to hear the questions she asked Brenda.  First she asked her why she came down for prayer.  Brenda said she wanted to hear the voice of God clearly and know it was Him.  She asked Brenda to go to her favorite place in her mind, where she felt closest to God.  Brenda shared it with her and then she asked Brenda if Jesus was there.  Then she asked what was He saying to her?  Then helped Brenda ask some questions with her own voice, of Jesus, to help her hear His voice.

(When we got back to the RV park, she said she was going to that place, to that same place, to walk and fellowship with Jesus.)

After the session, I was walking out, and saw a lady, Elvira a 74 year old that I saw to be an inspiration for me, and I told her.  She invited me to sit down and talk with her.  She was from a group that came from a Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, Washington. The same group the Japanese Lady was with.  We shared and then prayed for each other.

We were close to the sound booth in the back where 2 men, staff members, were packing up the equipment.  One of them said to us, “men needed to hear some of the testimonies he heard to understand how strong and resilient Women were, he was amazed”.

We said our good byes and exchanged information, got out box lunches, and headed back on the 12 miles of gravel, dusty road with beautiful high desert scenery, and on to the RV park.  Brenda and I had good fellowship on the way home.  She is so serious about hearing Gods voice and having a close intimate relationship with Him.

When I got back, I unwound a little, and then called Joan to see what tomorrow would look like.  She was very pleasant and asked about the Retreat.  She said that Bill was OK with me coming with Brenda when she went to the gym in the morning.

We are all playing it by ear.  I went to bed at about 8PM and woke up at 10:30PM, feeling rested, Father was eager to talk to me.

My Child, I am eager to talk to you, and have I have been waiting for you to finish your report of the retreat.  Now, this is my report.  As you suspected, I have some clarity for you.  You are my Child, my remarkable child, as the remarkable old Lady you are.  I am so delighted with you and anticipate new growth and the new confidence you will have in me, due to your experiences at the retreat.  I have also shown you a type of place similar to the vision I have given you.  You know that it is “safe” and you will be able to refer others to events they have there, with confidence. 

I have also shown you what I can do with unity.  You were concerned and wondering why there was so much slow down and seeming “oldness” that you experienced while there, and why you were losing things like your hearing aids, when you carefully put them in a place you could get them again and then after looking through everything you brought from the retreat, you still didn’t find them.  I have you and I have the hearing aids and will show you in due time.  I am not finished with the orchestration of what I am doing and you will see in due time.  Be anxious for nothing, your ears are being trained for bigger things,  Watch and wait.  I have you.  Now, it is morning and you are getting sleepy.  Go back to sleep and be confident that I have you in every way, place and thing.  You are truly mine, abide in me.  Good night, my love.

10-3-22

The prayer call with Carol and Renee went well.  I shared some things from the retreat regarding hearing Gods (Jesus) voice.

Good morning Father, I have not been seeking you today and I need you.

Good morning, my Child and my remarkable Lady.  You are not old; you are eternal in me.  I have much for you and you saw the unity and agreement at the retreat.  I have much for you here, as well as other places.  You are open and willing and I have shown you much regarding the vision I gave you, and you will see more.

I went with Brenda to Bend and she dropped me off at Joan and Bill’s.  We talked about the insurance for the accident I had and then went to lunch downstairs. Joan and I had some tension between us but it got resolved peacefully.  Bill and I left to go get Estimates.  We got 3 and decided not to go through the insurance to make a claim.  Two places were around $800 and one was close to $1,000.

 Two of them could not do the work until February of next year.  We decided on the $800 one that would be able to work on it by Oct 24-26^th.  I plan to pay for it, it will replace the whole bumper in the back, it was one piece. There were some scratches on the other bumper so it will be good on both some afterides.

 When we returned it was dinner time and Brenda had notcome to pick me up ao I went to dinner and texted her to tell her.  She was fine and said she would come at 6, after dinner.  A resident at the care center had been eating alone at a table where 3 other men had been sitting, next to our table. I had spoken to him but while I was waiting for Brenda, I talked with him.  His name was Gene, from Oregon, south of Salem, and he had been an engineer at the paper factory there.  We connected, he said he was going to heaven when he died.  He said he had lots of RV’s and boats because he did a lot of fishing.

Brenda came and we got caught up on the day as we drove back to the RV park.

 

10-4-22

Good Morning, my Child, I have you, you are mine, and I love you unconditionally.  I  have created you, I love you and I purposed you to bring joy to the world and operate in my abundance.  Walk it out.  I have Joan, she is my Child, you cannot fix her, I have made her, created her for my purpose.  She is on a different journey and I got it.  As she said, just BE and let me to the work.  I got your relationship with Joan.  Watch and see.  You are concerned about where to go during your week out of the RV park.  I have it also.  You know I have you and everything about you.  I want you to BE MY JOY, ALWAYS!  I have designed you for it.  Refresh yourself, KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN ME AND REJOICE!   Let’s move on.

LaVonne said Father told her to come on the prayer call and share the following:

His Children who step out in his will and go the wrong way, is a delight to Father God.  it is a training ground for us.  The heart that shuts down, has more respect for fear.   Fear becomes our God.

The Lord is with me and I am with Him.  Take a nap.

Procrastination is a subconscious fear.

Heb 13:5b AMP say it every hour.

Obedience is the step, that pleases God, we just went the wrong way.

Obedience is the move that pleases God, even when we go the wrong way, He is with us.

I read John 16.

My Child, just because you don’t know, how, when, what or why doesn’t mean it is not true or from me.  There are many things that I know that you don’t.  You have learned TO WALK WITH ME INTO THE UNKNOWN AND TRUST ME IN THE PROCESS.  What is the problem now?  I desire that you return to the place of full trust and reliance on me in all that you do.  Trust in me with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge me and I will direct your path.  I have you and I love you beyond what you can think or imagine.

Now I am healing your body, take a nap.

My Child, I love you and you know it, and I know that you love me too.  You are my favorite, like Emily said on the retreat, you are not my only favorite, but you are my favorite.  I love you more than you will ever know.  You are mine and we have much to do together.  Your commitment to me is unshakable and I love that about you.  My love for you in eternal and unmovable which makes us a mighty team, a committed, unshakable, eternal, unmovable team.  We can and will do much together. 

Father, I am willing, and I have some questions:

Where are you preparing me to be for the Winter?

What do you want me to do for mail?

What do you want me to do for transportation?  My car?

Should I get my RV washed?  If so how and where?

What is my Ministry here in Bend?

Do you want me to go to the Women’s Bible study at Journey Church?

What is my relationship with Gene, if any?

My child, my child, my child.  Who am I to you?  Am I truly your Father?  What is trust to you?  Isn’t this list, anxiety and concern for you?  Having faith in me is also being patient, which you have been in the past and you have waited patiently on me.  What has changed?  Is the fact that I have brought you here with no further instructions messed with your faith and your mind?  Wake up, wake up to how you know, and have known me to be.  I want your joy back, I want the freedom I have given you to shine through you. 

You are not responsible to anyone but me.  I am manifesting your healing, moving and orchestrating things in the background, as I always do.  Where is the anxiety coming from?  Let me work, in, and through you, unhindered by the things and people of this world.  DON’T GET AHEAD OF ME, OR IN MY WAY!!!  I have you and you are fine, my child, LET IT BE SO!!  Walk in my path with freedom and joy and peace, contentment, no anxiety, no worry, no concerns.  All I ask, is obedience, when you know it is me, walk in it, without fear but in willing obedience.  I have you abundantly.  You are truly, my Child, I have much for you as you just BE!  Shine on with my light, BE MY LIGHT!

Thank you Father for reminding me who you are and who you are to me.  I love you and you are my Father, my King, my everything.+++
