Good morning
my Child, my love. I have you and you
are beginning to see that you would not have connected with the people that are
important to your journey, if things had gone “your” way. I have you and always will. You know that you can count on me for all
things to work together for good for you.
You are beginning to really see.
The
prayer call was awesome, Adele, Sandi, LaVonne, Mindy and Renee were on and
patience was the theme. Everyone ministered to each other and a lot was
accomplished. We all need to learn
patience and each level of patience leads us to another.
My Child,
contact the Hatch Brake place and prepare to move accordingly.
They
couldn’t do Motor homes and they referred me to a place that did and the first
opening they had was November. I looked
on Google and found a place 6 miles away that was owned by a Christian with a
very positive, confident attitude his name was Martin. He owned TMC Auto Repair and was in the top
10 reviewed auto repair shops in the area.
He
could see me immediately and I went to the shop. I have never seen such a clean shop and office
area and comfortable area to spend 5 hours.
They immediately found the leak of the brake fluid in the rear passenger
side tires. He gave me an estimate in
writing and I sent it to Bill. Martin
ordered the parts and said they would be in tomorrow by 8AM. He drove the RV out of the bay and said he
was concerned about the softness of the brakes and could I handle it? I told him how I had driven it from Los
Cruses that way, he said “OH, OK you can handle it then.”
I
drove it back to the Mesa Spirit RV resort and Steve thought I was gone and had
taken back the bone adapter he had lent me, that connected me to electricity
and I didn’t have any AC. It was about 95 degrees!
I called
the office and he came and hooked me up again, I went to the pool to cool
off. Came back and took a nap and went
to the pool again. I was the only one
there and it was wonderful even in the dark.
I then took a shower and washed and treated my hair, it was
wonderful. I went to bed early after
eating some more of my “Broccoli spaghetti”.

I
woke with choices on my mind. Tomorrow
is my 80th Birthday and I could choose how I thought about it.
1. I could choose to be sad because I was “alone”
and have only limited funds (as I was on my 79th) and since my “love
language” is quality time, I love fellowship with people. My thoughts will
determine my emotions and my actions, so if I made that choice, I would get
depressed and have a miserable day to remember.
2. I could choose to think
higher and realize that I am actually in a great place, getting my RV brakes
fixed, free to be. Be free, be joy, be
love, be my Father God’s Child, with all of the rights and benefits of a King’s
kid. Wow! And I get to bless my Father by being who He
created me to be, and blessed me by Jesus to have Salvation, a wonderful
relationship with my Daddy God, be healed by His stripes and called into my
Father’s service. Wow! What a Birthday! I am Medication free, debt free, stress free,
worry free and having an adventure of a lifetime, being cared for by my
wonderful Father God and suffering no lack. WOOHOO! I CHOOSE #2, as the #1
choice.
I am still on schedule to go Zip lining, just being
re-scheduled. Patience is always Father
God’s plan to get us everything. Trust
and faith is never seen, only believed.
We had an awesome prayer call with Shay and Jennifer. The
subject was choices, to think higher where Father reigns, or whether to choose
the world and the circumstances it offers.
We were on one accord, as always. I love Father God for His faithfulness.
I drove the RV back to the shop, but before I left, Steve came by and helped me unhook and kept his connector. I asked if I could pray for him, he agreed and then asked me to pray for his son who had just started Chemo for cancer, and his wife who was with him. I did.
I got to the shop about 8:40AM and settled in with their Wifi
and a muffin a lady brought from her bakery for the shop.
As I was sitting at my computer, the Martin ran past me with a
2 bottles of water and some chips for a homeless boy walking down the street.
+++
Bill called me about 3:30 and gave me his credit card number to
pay the $2,000 for the brakes. Martin
knocked off the amount above $2,000 to make it even.
I stayed all day at the repair shop and then they told me that
there was another problem with the driver’s side front brakes that required
something else and it required more time to fix. Martin said he would gift the extra time and
parts for my Birthday. He is so
sweet. There was so much peace all day
and I am very impressed with everything I have seen here.
A gentleman came in named Roman and we talked and I asked him
if he knew Jesus. He did, but was out of
relationship with him. We talked and he
caved in to Father God and re-established his relationship with Him. I felt he had a strong call on his life and
told him, he agreed. It was the best
Birthday present I could have received.
9-14-22 My 80th
Birthday 4:30 AM pacific time
My Child, this is he day you were birthed into the world 80 years ago. You know that I purposed you on this earth
and I am not disappointed or dishonored in any way. All of your adventures have been orchestrated
by ne. I love you.
By myself but not alone, I have Jesus and He is enough!
I am still in Mesa Arizona, in a luxury resort in my 2001
Winnabago, Minnie Winnie Motorhome, which is my home. My site is D39 which is right across the
street from 2 pools, 2 saunas, library, laundry, game room, bath house with
showers and other amenities.
I never expected my 80th Birthday to be about brakes
and restoration of another Child of God back to Father God.
When I was 12, the year I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord
and Savior and was Baptized (and became “holier than thou”), I also took my
first plane (propeller) ride from Eugene, Oregon to Portland, Oregon,
accompanying my 86-year-old Grandmother, Annie Lett, on her first plane ride
too. Ever since she herd bout the Wright
brothers flight, she wanted to fly, it was on her “bucket list”.
We stayed the weekend with Norman and Gynith Williams in
Portland. Norman was a cousin that
invented Air Brakes for trucks and he had a machine factory that made the parts
for them, he only had an 8th grade education, Every truck driver
should be grateful for Norman Williams.
We got to tour the factory and enjoyed visiting with them. We had to
ride the bus back because it was too foggy to land the plane in Eugene. It was still an adventure and Grandma Lett
and this Grandma enjoyed it.
My next experience with brakes was in my late 20’s after Floyd
and I were married, we bought a MG Midget sports car and then a Triumph Sports
car and both of them were in the shop, most of the time. Finally, someone suggested that we get a
Manual for the car we had. It cost
$12.95 at the time and that was one of the smartest things we ever did! The
most important thing in the book for us was the 10 things to check, beginning
from the least expensive, for every symptom the car expressed. We spend very little on car repairs from that
day on.
It changed lot for us, sometime later, Floyd bought a car and
converted it to a Taxi Cab, and drove taxi part time for years. He repaired most everything on the car
including the brakes. My role in it, was to sit on a chair and watch him and
NOT TALK, but hand him tools when he needed them. That was a hard job, especially the not
talking part!
After years of watching him, I know a good brake from a bad
brake.
Fast
forward: February 2022
This
is the outline of the history of the brakes on the RV.
-Two
rear passanger side tires blew out at the same time.
-AJ
replaced the front brakes, rotor & pads before I started on my Journey to
Oregon.
-The
day I left the 2 tires on the same side blew again.
-About
two weeks ago, the red brake ;ight came on the dash board and the brakes got
very soft and it took longer to stop.
-I
was told to put brake fluid in.
-I
had to put 2 bottles of brake fluid in which was unusual.
-The
soft pedal for the brakes didn’t change. At the same time, I saw that the cylinder
on the passenger front were severely grooved more than I had ever seen.
-It
was Labor Day, no brake place was open.
-Father
God gave me instructions to drive to Mesa, AZ to the RV park where I would have
access to brake shops and I could rest in the comfort of Air Conditioning in
109-degree weather. I arrived that same
day, and hooked up and went to the pool.
-Was
referred to a shop that intended to change the rotors and pads but said it
wouldn’t change the softness of the brakes and he suspected a leak in the rear
brakes that caused the front ones to go bad.
He didn’t have the equipment to check them so he sent back the parts and
did not charge me anything. Praise you
Father God!
-This
was on Friday and everything was closed until Monday.
-Monday
I found (after many referrals) a “top 10” reviewed place called TMC Auto
Repair. When I called I heard so much
confidence in the voice of Martin on the other end, that he could help me. When I arrived at 8:30AM, I was amazed at the comfortable,
clean environment to spend the day. I
was there until nearly 7PM and felt taken care of during the whole time, I even
had internet.+++
