Finally hot today!

Mar. 13,2017
I took a walk abound the neighborhood and stopped to meet 2 couples that were out BBQ-ing outside.  They were from near here and came on weekends.  I invited them to come over Sunday to see the live stream for the Sunday worship service of the FTHCM of Maryland.

Sunday:I tried to get the streaming live to work and I couldn't get it working on either my phone or the computer. The internet worked but not the live stream.  I decided to go to church with my Christian-Actress-Hippy-Organic-friend.  We left about 9:30 and I left a note on the door saying that I couldn't get the live stream and where I was going.

We attended the River of Life Church that I had been to the last time I was in the area.
Pastor Bob spoke.  After church,I got some gas for her car and then she took me to the RV place to get the propane part,  It cost $39.09.  Then we decided to have a girly day out after we came back and ate lunch.  She had to fix lunch for her husband and I ate a salad.  She came back and got me and we went to a thrift store and she found a French Press Pot for coffee or loose tea leaves, she broke hers needed another one.  She was very, happy. Then we went to get our nails done and a pedicure.  After that we went to Trader Joes Grocery store to shop.

After she brought me back I met the next door neighbors.  Todd and Melanie and their two "weiner" dogs.  They usually come on weekends  and are from Southern California.  He has his own Video Production Business and she produced Hair Shows. They knew Jesus and we talked a while.  Then my friend came back by to ask me if I wanted her to drive me down to the laundrymat.  I did so she took me down the hill and I put my clothes in the washmachine and she took me back to get my swimming suit and I came back and went swimming while my clothes were washing.  My friend took a walk, walked her dog and hung out in the Lounge while she waited for me. She is so organic that the chlorine in the pool affects her skin so she can't get in the pool.

While I was in the pool, I met a wonderful lady from Northern California, a retired teacher and she loved Jesus too!  She was 63 years old and looked 40, she had been a Vegan for 4 years and was very knowledgeable about nutrition.  She stays in the section where I do and we exchanged information.  She had heard of Shaklee years ago and had thought it was out of business.  I am getting a lot of that same comment and I haven't met a Shaklee Member or Distributor yet.  They all have a very positive image of Shaklee.  When my clothes finished, my friend brought me back up the hill.  I got a lot accomplished yesterday.

Monday:  Today I received a call from my adopted grandson who I adopted in Palm Desert at the laundry.  We had a good talk and he is going to see if they can come here before I leave.  That would be great!  I got a call from Margie, one of my 81 year old Shaklee examples in our group.  She is planning to downsize and move into a new area for her.  I am so proud of her.  It is a new beginning
for her and she has risen to the occasion.  While I was talking to her the next door neighbors came over to say good-bye and I asked them if they had a grandmother, they said they had both died so it's official, they are adopted!  They seemed happy with that and said."Good-bye Grandma Swann."  My Grandaughter came over and spent most of the day with me.  I was showed her the Shaklee plan and she is very much interested.

Finally it is hot!  It was 82 degrees today(felt like 85) and I put my awning out.  Well I tried to put it out, and I was doing it wrong, so I went over to an RV that looked like they had an awning like mine.  Joe and Pat were sitting outside.  I introduced myself and I asked them if they could help and Joe said he would.  He came over and helped and gave me great instructions on how to do it by myself.  As he was pulling it out, the awning pull-strap broke. He said he was going to town later and would pass by the RV place and would get me another one and I could pay him when he returned.  Isn't God good?  He takes such good care of me. Praise the Lord!  No worries, no stress, no anxiety, no problems with the problems.  There is always a non stressful solution to every issue!  TRUST GOD, HE'S GOT IT!  I will have to leave the awning out until I get the strap.

We had a conference "zoom" meeting tonight with Dr. Chaney.  It was soo good. He talked about putting limiting beliefs behind us, because they are just that, LIMITING!  What are our limiting beliefs?

Are you afraid?

Mar 10, 2017

Fear
What creates fear in your lives?  What are you afraid of?

Let's talk about fear.  Why?  Because it seems to control a big part of our lives at times and I believe, we need to know how to think about fear.

Before you say, "Oh, I'm not afraid of anything!"  Let's examine ourselves.

The definition of fear:   A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined, the feeling or condition of being afraid. Synonyms: foreboding, apprehension. consternation, dismay, dread, terror, fright, panic, horror, trepidation, qualm.

I believe that worry, anxiety and stress is the result of our thoughts of impending or immagined fear.

I believe that the Holy Spirit will warn us of impending real danger. So we need to be filled with thw Holy Spirit and be sensitive to Him.

Fear is "real", (a real emotion), it is what we do with it that makes the difference.

Fear can FREEZE us and prevent us from taking positive action ie.
          Fear of rejection
          Fear of failure
          Fear of success
Fear of certain people,(races, ethnicities, relatives, classes, etc.)
          Fear of encounters
          Fear of heights
          Fear of death
Fear of bugs, snakes, dogs, other animals.
Fear of Illness & Diseases (Cancer, Heart trouble, Disabilities, etc.)
Fear of old age, (Mind not working right, loss of independence,                               debilitation, etc..)
What does God's Word say aout fear?

I John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

The whole chapter of I John 4 gives a better understanding.

Fear has torment!

Fear is not of God.

God is love.

Love casteth out fear.

I Peter 5:8
" Be sober, vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

So, are we devour-able?   Do we allow the devil into our lives to devour us?  If we are afraid of his "roar", we will be "frozen" or make decisions that are contrary to the Word and Will of God.  That is just what the devil wants to happen.  When we are afraid, we are not trusting God.  If we are in position, a Child of the most high God, by acceptance of Jesus, His Son, we have the almighty power of everything on our side.  We can "poof" in the face of the roaring lion, (adversary), he will turn tail and run (because the secret is, he has no teeth)!

Yesterday my Christian, Actress, Organic, Hippy friend came over and walked me.  Enjoyed seeing her again.  The propane guy came today to see about my propane issue and said that the regulator had broken off.  Showed me how to go to the hardware store and buy the part.  Simple fix, Praise the Lord!

80 degrees today, I think I will go to the pool.

DON'T FORGET TO TURN YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD TONIGHT!

Explosive situation

Mar. 10, 2017

After a wonderful drive and a stop at "Peggy Sue's Diner",  a 60's diner with all kinds of memorabilia from the 1960's, I arrived in Soledad Canyon, California, last evening, nearing dark.  I saw my Granddaughter that I adopted when I was here before.  She helped me back into the site which is 2 sites over from them.  I texted people that I had arrived and I had decided not to hook up because it was dark.  I looked at the refrigerator and noticed that it was not running on propane, and had not been for some time because it was not real cold.  I tried to start it on propane again but it wouldn't work.  I put my "head light" ( a flashlight that you can wear on your head that shines where ever you look) and went outside to look at the propane tank.  WOW!
There was a hose hanging down, dragging the ground from the propane gas tank and I could smell gas real strong.  I immediately called my "go-to RV guy" in Virginia (he was asleep) and he told me to turn the valve on the tank off, so there would be no more gas coming from the tank.  He was right, I didn't smell gas anymore.
Then he suggested I hook up to electric so I could run the refrigerator and the heat, so I did, and I hooked up the water too, while I was at it.  He asked me to send pictures to him in the morning of the propane situation.  Thank God for Angles He sends to take care of me!  With the hose dragging on the ground, and gas coming out of it, it could have caused sparks that could cause an explosion.  God always takes care of me, Praise the Lord!
After hooking up to electric and water, I was good for the night.

This morning, I repositioned my RV so I could hook up the "poop" hose, as my Granddaughter call's it.  She helped and then my Grandson, J got off work and came by, he is the Night Ranger and works midnight to 8 AM.  It was good to see him too. We talked a bit, then he had to take Kilo to work and get some sleep.  I texted my "go-to RV guy" the pictures and he said if I cap off the hose, I should be OK.  Praise the Lord!  I was not anxious or scared because I know I am taken care of.  What comfort and Joy that is!

I found out where my Christian-organic-actress-hippy friend is located in the park and we will get together later.

Leaving LasVegas again!

Mar 9, 2017

Leaving LasVegas today.  This seems like home, I have so many friends and family here. I will miss them, but I will be back!

Yesterday, I took Sharon and Janice out for lunch at "Claim Jumpers" and it ended being a Shaklee training.  The waiter was very personable and had some health issues and Janice gave him her card, he gave her his information and she sent him a Health Assessment, she will follow-up with him.  Sharon has decided to upgrade her Membership to Distributorship either this month or next.  She already has her cousin as a Member under her who ordered the Life Plan and the mind works.
Right after lunch, Sharon took me to the 99 cent store to get groceries and supplies for my trip.  While we were in the store, Brenda called.  She had just returned from her job in Bull Head City and invited us to "Bravos" to meet a friend of hers.
All in all a great Shaklee day!  And a great day of fellowship!

Today, I am headed for Soledad Canyon to see some more "family" and friends.  What a life!  Wow!  This is so cool!

God loves us and there is nothing we can do about it.

Mar 7, 2017

The wind stopped and I noticed an interesting thing.  I am close to the dumpster, which is next to the Laundry/Restroom/showers.  When it was so windy, I looked out my window and saw that the dumpster was full and the wind blew the top over which exposed the heaping trash and trash bags started blowing out.  One of the RV'ers (a lady) came over, returned the trash bags to the dumpster and secured the lid and rolled the dumpster closer to the building so the wind wouldn't bother it so much.  I thought about how she had taken responsibility for it and most people would have said, leave it for the maintenance crew. What if we all took responsibility for our surroundings, even things that could be left for someone else to do?  Just do what is in front of us to do.  She saved us all a big mess that would have affected all of us eventually if she had left it undone.  Why didn't I do it?  I was not dressed to go outside.  I probably wouldn't have done it if I was dressed, but I learned that lesson and will be more of a good steward over my environment.

Janice came over to be on the conference call with Dr. Chaney last night.  Brenda was here for lunch and she was on the call also..  Good call.

A couple of things I heard this week, one from the Womens Conference and the other on utube from Roger Barnett, Owner & CEO of Shaklee.  He was talking about the Landmark Clinical study that compared people that had used Shaklee products (equivalant to the Vitalizer) for 20 years or more, to those who used other multivitamines for 20 years, to those who used no Supplements for 20 years.  The researchers said,"This groundbreaking study of long-term dietary supplement users showed that people who took Shaklee supplements had markedly better health than both multivitamin and non-supplement users alike."
I was a part of the study, and the average age of the Shaklee people was 63, (like me) the Other Supplement users was 57 and the non-supplement users was 53.7.
The things tested were, markers for Alzheimer's, Cholesterol, Inflammation, like Arthritis, Heart Disease and Cancer, Coronary Heart disease, Congestive Heart failure, Diabetes, Stroke, Heat Attack, Angina and Emphysema.  In every case Shaklee Supplement users were in better health.
Roger said they projected the results out and if every person in the USA took Vitalizer, we could save $260,000,000 in health care costs for our Nation.  That money could be spent on other things that our Country needs.  The thing I heard at the Women's conference was that we can
BE MOVEMENT MAKERS
That is such a great Mission, sharing Vitalizer with the world and it is guaranteed to bring better health (based on how you feel) in 30 days or your money back. The Vitalizer is a strip with 2 Multivitamins (Vita Lea), 2 Omega 3  (Omegaguard), B & C Sustained release, and a Probiotic.  All are clinically proven to be bioavailable to your body with multiple patents on the delivery system.  If you are using any other Vitamin, mineral etc..and you try Vitalizer and you don't feel better, you lose nothing, you can get your money back even on the empties.  All of the Shaklee products are guaranteed.

I just had to share what I believe to be the second most impact-full thing in my life.  Jesus is the first!

I am getting a lot out of the messages at Church and Bible Study here in LasVegas.
·        God loves you and you can't do anything about it!
·        Pride seeks to be seen, rather than letting Jesus be seen in us.
·        The devil wants to catch us in greed for gain.
·        Am I doing what satisfies the flesh, or pleasing the will of God?
·        A fool doesn't have a mental handicap, a fool pleases the flesh. (rebellion and laziness)
·        Wisdom avoids what God hates. Proverbs 6:12
·        God is only concerned with His word, not our emotions.
·        Let God fight your battles, Walk in Jesus.
·        God's instructions come from the Bible.
·        Complete what God has called us to do.
·        God won't give up on your assignment. Jonah is an example.
·        Prayer is God's Positioning System (GPS)

I went to the pool and dipped my toe in to see if it was heated, it is.  I may go today.  I have to help to do a conference call at 5:30 PM.  Then go to Bible Study.  I will be leaving on Thursday for Soledad Canyon (near Lancaster, California).

Windy in LasVegas

Mar 4, 2017

Yesterday I did some calling and then Marilyn from FTHCM said she wanted one of the Joint & Muscle Pain Cream samples and she said she could come over after her Dr's appointment.  She came and took me to lunch at a wonderful buffet.  We talked and she and her husband were very big on healthy eating.  Later Janice came back to get in on the live stream of Eric Worre's, Go Pro Woman's Conference.  She stayed over because she didn't want to drive in the dark.  Brenda came also and they both got a lot out of it.
Janice left about 6 AM to go back home and get ready for Bible Class.

Friday:  Sharon picked me up for Bible Study, I heard from Bill, his wife had returned, and he drove to Bible Class. Brenda left her phone at my house, so I brought it to Bible Class for her.   Pastor McDuel did a wonderful Class.  After Class, Janice brought me back and we watched streaming live of the Womans Conference.  We both got a lot out of it.

Tomorrow will have a Shaklee pot luck lunch at one, Janice and Brenda will be here early for the Saturday Morning session of the Woman's Conference.
I just saw one of the three guys that I went to (Casino) dinner with in Palm Desert.  His wife is back from Oregon.  This is like a rolling community!
Mar 5, 2017

It is very windy now, so much so, that I put the slide in on the RV because the awning over it was flapping.  The pool is open and I thought I would go this afternoon but the wind changed my mind.  There is so much debris from palm tees and other stuff blowing around.

Saturday:  I made taco soup and biscuits and salad for the fellowship and then watched the Most Powerful Women In Network Marketing, conference on streaming live.

Janice came and brought a rotisserie chicken and fruit salad, Brenda came and brought a homemade cake, some danish, and her "Bullet" mixer to make  smoothie samples with the Shaklee Life Plan Shake.   They came about 11:30 AM and we did some training.  They both had received their products and were very excited.  I trained them on how to do a Shaklee information session and then I asked them if they wanted to do the one today.  They were both willing.  Sharon came bringing some sandwich wraps and a veggie tray and we got started.   After we ate, Janice opened the session and they tag teamed, demonstrating the boards, talking about their stories and the Shaklee difference, why supplements etc..  They did an excellent job, with confidence and knowledge!  They definitely had been studying!  Janice was a nurse and Brenda is a Patient care Coordinator and so they both knew the importance of a good supplement and they knew why Shaklee is the best.  I am so confident that they both will do well in Shaklee; they have the right heart for it.

We had a great fellowship and Sharon sponsored as a Member under Janice,
she placed an order and got free Membership with her order.  Janice's group is growing.  After the session, they left so much food with me, I took two dinners over to the man that had cancer, and his wife.

Sunday:  I weighed myself this AM, I am back down to the lowest weight!  Now, I will keep going.  Sharon picked me up for church at 7:30 AM and we listened to the streaming live service from Maryland on the way.  It was first Sunday and Communion Sunday.  I got to watch the members work their Ministries.  It was so good to see how serious they were about God's work.
After church Sharon took me to lunch, Brenda and Janice came too.  We had a great fellowship.  Brenda has a goal to invite every man she meets this week, to church.  She invited the waiter who did not have a church home.

I feel so at home here, it will be hard to leave on Thursday but my adopted Grand Daughter text me and she is so happy that I am coming to Solidad Canyon and I am looking forward to seeing her, my Grandson and my Organic-Hippy-Actress-friend again.  It is kind of on the way to Oregon, so I will try again to get there.

I'm staying in LasVegas another week!

March 1, 2017

Things change!  I went to the laundry mat yesterday right after I bloged ad met the Park manager.  He looked at me and said did you want to talk to me about something?  I had already asked him about storing the RV while I stayed with Brenda, but that didn't seem to be an option.  I told him I was trying to stay longer but there was no space available.  He said, I needed to talk to the right person.  Well long story short, he gave me another week in the same spot!  Praise the Lord!
I thought I would have to unhook the RV to get propane and it turned out that they come right to my site to fill the propane tank and they could do it even when I wasn't there!  I planned to go to Bullhead City, AZ. and Laughlin, NV with Brenda on Wednesday, so I wouldn't be there anyway.  It worked out perfectly!  I also found out, the the auto place next door will come to my site and change my oil!, I will probably get that done Thursday or Friday after Bible Study.

I invited the manager to Bible Study at FTHCM in LasVegas on Tuesday,  (he didn't show up).  Bill had allergy issues and couldn't come either.

I went for a walk and met a man that was working on his rig, I spoke, and he started sharing that his 45ft diesel Motor Home (beautiful) was for sale for $100,000.  He was selling it because he was going to die.  He just had an operation on his back which turned out OK, he could stand up straight now.  He just found out 2 days ago that he had colon cancer, his doctor hadn't told him, and he was angry at the Doctor.  He was a born again Christian but really upset at his Doctor.  I ask him would he feel physically any different if he didn't know.  He said he felt pretty good physically, considering he had just come out of an operation..  So I told him that evidently God wasn't finished in his life and He probably had something else for him to do.  We talked awhile and I encouraged him to not give up on life, just because "they" said he had cancer.  That where there is life, there is hope, and since he knew he was going to heaven when he died, that he didn't have that to worry about and that he had more life to live and something to do before.  He agreed and said that he thought he wasn't going to make it through the last operation.  I encouraged him, reassured him that God was bigger than cancer, and shared the Shaklee catalogue with him and told him we were about building health, and it seemed like he needed to do that.  I also told him I would pray for him, and I did.  He seemed uplifted and thanked me.  I asked for his phone number so I could send him the Health Assessment.  He gave me the phone number but said his wife probably wouldn't let him take it.  I told him to call me if he changed his mind.  Later I sent him the story of Dr. Shaklee and his recovery from cancer on video to him phone.  Later I got a call from his wife asking me not to contact him again, that they were not interested.  I apologized and agreed not to.  Later, he came over and apologized, brought the catalogue back and thanked me.  I will continue to pray for him.

Janice came over to get some Shaklee training about 1:30 PM and stayed until 4:30 and we watched the streaming live broadcast of FTHCM in Maryland.  After that, she took me to Bible Study in LasVegas.  It was great!
Brenda brought me home and she stayed over night so we could leave out early in the morning.

Wednesday:  Brenda and I left about 7:30 AM and drove about an hour and a half to do her job in Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ..  She is a patient Coordinator for a company that does Home Health Care and Hospice.  I was able to go to the library and do some of this blog.  The day was beautiful and the drive was spectacular!  I traveled some roads I had never been before.  We crossed the Colorado River and went into Arizona where it was Mountain time.(an hour later).  It was a wonderful day and wonderful fellowship.  Brenda has two people waiting to wanting to hear about Shaklee. We stopped by the 99 Cents store and I did some shopping and we listened to my husband's CD of his Thanksgiving Message on the way back home.  We got back just in time to get the Shaklee Leadership live stream of the Month.  There are a lot of good incentives for March.
