Mar. 13,2017
I took a walk abound the
neighborhood and stopped to meet 2 couples that were out BBQ-ing outside. They were from near here and came on
weekends. I invited them to come over Sunday to
see the live stream for the Sunday worship service of the FTHCM of Maryland.
Sunday:I tried to get the
streaming live to work and I couldn't get it working on either my phone or the
computer. The internet worked but not the live stream. I decided to go to church with my Christian-Actress-Hippy-Organic-friend. We left
about 9:30 and I left a note on the door saying that I couldn't
get the live stream and where I was going.
We attended the River of Life
Church that I had been to the last time I was in the area.
Pastor Bob spoke. After church,I got some gas for her car and
then she took me to the RV place to get the propane part, It cost $39.09. Then we decided to have a girly day out after
we came back and ate lunch. She had to
fix lunch for her husband and I ate a salad.
She came back and got me and we went to a thrift store and she found a
French Press Pot for coffee or loose tea leaves, she broke hers needed another
one. She was very, happy. Then we went to
get our nails done and a pedicure. After
that we went to Trader Joes Grocery store to shop.
After she brought me back I
met the next door neighbors. Todd and
Melanie and their two "weiner" dogs. They
usually come on weekends and are from Southern California. He has his
own Video Production Business and she produced Hair Shows. They knew Jesus and
we talked a while. Then my friend came
back by to ask me if I wanted her to drive me down to the laundrymat. I did so she took me down the hill and I put
my clothes in the washmachine and she took me back to get my swimming suit and
I came back and went swimming while my clothes were washing. My friend took a walk, walked her dog and
hung out in the Lounge while she waited for me. She is so organic that the
chlorine in the pool affects her skin so she can't get in the pool.
While I was in the pool, I met
a wonderful lady from Northern
California, a retired
teacher and she loved Jesus too! She was
63 years old and looked 40, she had been a Vegan for 4 years and was very
knowledgeable about nutrition. She stays
in the section where I do and we exchanged information. She had heard of Shaklee years ago and had
thought it was out of business. I am
getting a lot of that same comment and I haven't met a Shaklee Member or
Distributor yet. They all have a very
positive image of Shaklee. When my
clothes finished, my friend brought me back up the hill. I got a lot accomplished yesterday.
Monday: Today I received a call from my adopted
grandson who I adopted in Palm Desert at the laundry.
We had a good talk and he is going to see if they can come here before I
leave. That would be great! I got a call from Margie, one of my 81 year
old Shaklee examples in our group. She
is planning to downsize and move into a new area for her. I am so proud of her. It is a new beginning
for her and she has risen to
the occasion. While I was talking to her
the next door neighbors came over to say good-bye and I asked them if they had
a grandmother, they said they had both died so it's official, they are
adopted! They seemed happy with that and
said."Good-bye Grandma Swann."
My Grandaughter came over and spent most of the day with me. I was showed her the Shaklee plan and she is
very much interested.
Finally it is hot! It was 82 degrees today(felt like 85) and I
put my awning out. Well I tried to put
it out, and I was doing it wrong, so I went over to an RV that looked like they
had an awning like mine. Joe and Pat
were sitting outside. I introduced
myself and I asked them if they could help and Joe said he would. He came over and helped and gave me great
instructions on how to do it by myself.
As he was pulling it out, the awning pull-strap broke. He said he was
going to town later and would pass by the RV place and would get me another one
and I could pay him when he returned.
Isn't God good? He takes such good
care of me. Praise the Lord! No worries,
no stress, no anxiety, no problems with the problems. There is always a non stressful solution to
every issue! TRUST GOD, HE'S GOT IT! I will have to leave the awning out until I
get the strap.
We had a conference
"zoom" meeting tonight with Dr. Chaney. It was soo good. He talked about putting
limiting beliefs behind us, because they are just that, LIMITING! What are our limiting beliefs?
