Life get's gooder and gooder!

Friday, August 18, 2017
I stayed two nights in Raleigh area with my "Grandchildren" who just moved to a new house.  It is in a new development and they have a "common area" with lots of tall beautiful trees in the back.  The have a lovely screened in back porch, overlooking a nice lawn and the trees.  They are in a very quiet neighborhood.
I left about 1 PM to continue on North.  I contacted a fiend in Fredericksburg, VA who's husband had just died recently.  He was in my Shaklee group and I hadn't seen her for several years.  We had a nice visit.  She looks like she is in her 50's and really good for 75 years old.  She is in very good health but still wanted to use the Shaklee Life Plan to insure her continued good health.  She ordered it last night.  I stayed the night in a wonderful bed with my own bathroom.  She has a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood
This morning I will visit another Shaklee Member, who moved from New York to Fredericksburg some years ago.  I plan to head up to Maryland to pick up my new "YOUTH" Shaklee skin care products, that I can't wait to try.   I took a before picture in natural light of my naked face.  You won't see it until I have a younger face to show you!(smile)
God is good. Life is good!

God's people are soo good to me!

Wednesday,August 16, 2017
Wow, I am so blessed by God's people! Sunday, I took Rosemary to the Airport at 5:30 AM to catch her plane to Oregon.  When I returned to the "Airbnb" house I had a nice talk with Bianca, and she was adopted!  She is a sweetheart and doesn't have a church home yet.  I invited her to Atlanta FTHCM, she put the notice on her refrigerator.
After checking out, I went to the FTHCM of Atlanta and adopted two other Grandchildren, Wesley and Salina.  Salina is a Member of the Las Angeles FTHCM church.  She is in Mississippi with her Mother and drove 5 hours to come to the Atlanta church, as it was the closest.  She was so excited to be in Church and we connected.  I gave her some CD's of the FTHCM Parent church; she said she would listen on the way home.
Wesley, a 22 yr old young man I sat next to during service, was very impressive.  Dressed nicely and seemed very serious about the Lord.  I am looking forward to connecting with him again.
I stayed Sun and Monday night in, "my bed" that I stayed in before conference, it was very peaceful and a good place to "debrief" from conference.
Tuesday, I had finally received the direction I was to go.  I had called people in the North, East and South and I heard from the North and so I left about 9 AM, headed up Rt 85 toward Raleigh, NC.  I stopped to meet a Distributor in Moore, SC that I had talked to on the phone, but hadn't met.  We had a wonderful talk about the Lord, he is an Elder and was about to go to a homeless shelter to Minister.  I then stopped by to see Terry Dawkin's wife near Cow Pens, SC.  I had not seen her since before he passed, she seemed to be doing well.  By this time it was getting late and I thought that it was too late to try to make it to Raleigh.  I checked out several options and nothing was working out, so I kept going  Then I got in touch with my Hosts in Raleigh and they said they would be up and for me to come on.  I arrived at 11:15 PM and they were still up and showed me their new house and it is beautiful!  I had a wonderful bed and bathroom and got a great night's sleep.  I will be here through tonight and they said I could stay as long as I want to.
They hosted me in their other house when I came through in the RV and are wonderful, loving, giving, people.
"My plan" is to go to Maryland for a bit, then head out West.  We will see.
I can't tell you how good God has been to me.  I will one day.

I BROKE A WOODEN BOARD WITH MY BARE HAND!

August 14, 2017

I BROKE A BOARD WITH MY BARE HAND!!!  But greater than that, was, all 12 of the members in our group, at the convention, did it too, the first time!  But greater than that was that all but a handful of the 5,000 attendees at the convention did it too.  But greater than that was the breaking through of all of the obstacles, hindrances, bonds, limitations and FEAR.

The top board is the one I broke, the bottom one is an unbroken one, like we all broke.  I used the tea as a reference for size.

We broke through our obstacles (the board) when we focused on the objective, goal, purpose, God's plan for our life, rather than the circumstances, obstacle, limitations, hindrances (the board).  None of us thought we could do it at first, but we all did and it was like it was paper, AMAZING!!!  We already have it in us, we are amazing and our mind is the battle ground.
So now that we know that nothing is impossible, when we focus on the good stuff ahead, rather than the stuff in front of us, designed to take us out.  "Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world."  So, let's go!!!

Convention is over, I am still in Atlanta,  debriefing and organizing for the next big adventure with Jesus.

I attended FTHCM Atlanta yesterday and adopted three more Grandchildern.  Heard a wonderful messsage.  "God sees the opportunity of our trials to cause us to grow.   We can't compromise when things get tough, we must remember what God said about our circumstances, and rest in it". (What He said is in the Bible, all of it).  We have everything we need!

Be younger longer

Atlanta, August 10 2017- Shaklee Conference
Today was awesome, I didn't think I would blog until Sunday but this is too BIG!  Shaklee just introduced (8 years in the making) new products in the skin care line that are called "YOUTH", because they are clinically proven give younger looking skin.  They were clinically tested and 100% of the subjects experienced younger looking skin and 2/3rds of them looked at least a decade younger!  They are Vegan, gluten free and non cruelty, and do not contain the 2500 questionable ingredients that other skin care products have. WOW, I can't wait to try them.  Those people we saw at the conference that had used them ahead of time, looked amazing, and these were Shaklee people who had used the Shaklee skin care for years (which I thought was the best).  There are 8 patents and patents pending.

They also introduced additions to the Sports Nutrition line.  I will talk about that later.  Those of you who are Shaklee Members can go on www.myshaklee.com for more information.

Homeless?

Aug 9, 2017
I forgot to tell you that I got a call from St. Croix, Virgin Islands, from a long time Shaklee friend, Arlene.  She lives there and is now interested in Shaklee again.  She is my age, very sharp and excited.  She listened to the conference call on Monday and said it was very interesting.  I hope she can watch some of the Shaklee Convention on Pod Cast (Whatever that is).

Well, I am in Atlanta, Georgia after a good trip.  I thought I had enough contacts to get in touch with, to see people on the way down.  No one returned my calls or texts, or emails in time enough to see them before I passed their area.  Interesting, so, I could have gone in my mind, a lot of places, but I chose to focus on what was next.  I called Thousand Trails main office and checked if I could stay in my car in the RV resorts where there is access to a bathroom, shower and pool.  They said I could, on the tent sites.

OK, I called a TT RV Resort that was on my way, they said I couldn't stay in a tent site without a tent, but I could stay in the parking lot of the ranger station.  OK, I said that might work, so I drove about 25 miles off the main highway to get there and they had decided that I couldn't stay in my car anywhere on the property.  I stopped at another one and the got the same story

OK, this is about 6 PM and I had been traveling for about 9 hours, so I stopped for gas at a Truck Stop, AHAH!  I could stay at a truck stop!   I didn't want to settle in that early so I decided to drive until dark, then, find one.  Well, after 12 1/2 hours of being on the road, I finally found one (last one before Atlanta) just over the border into South Carolina.  I had my sleeping bag and "ground pad", I covered the windows with the sun protectors, the rest were tinted and the back was covered with a black tarp. I was cozy.  I parked near the bathroom and they even had a shower, if I wanted.   I had forgotten to read the instructions on how to inflate the self-inflatable sleeping bag pad, I didn't inflate it and it was a bit hard (I inflated it the next day and it would have been great, Oh well!)  I got as much sleep as I usually do (getting up to go to the bathroom, about every 2 hours, just a longer walk).  I now have a deeper appreciation for the homeless.

The next day I was able to wash up and change clothes and get started for Atlanta.  I arrived at the FTHCM Church in Atlanta just in time for Bible Study and it was wonderful.  Pastor Starks talked about trusting God and he had an example of being homeless and realizing that it was just a condition and not who you were.  If we know Jesus as our persoal Savior and Lord, then we are Children of God, His Child.  He wants the best for His Children.  Pastor Starks didn't even know that I had been "homeless" for a night.  The Holy Spirit is so amazing!

After Bible Study, I was invited to stay over night and I had a wonderful bed and my own bathroom.  You learn to appreciate and look at things differently when you experience things.   That was a wonderful sleep!

Today, I went by our "Air B&B" house, just to see where it was and what it was like, before I picked up Rosemary from the Airport at 2 PM.  It wasn't too far and only 10 minutes (without traffic) from the Convention.  I had never experienced a "Air B&B" before but instead of paying $115 per night for a Hotel, we got a room in a house (where people live) for $40.  It is very comfortable and cozy.  There are two beds in our room and a bath next door.
The owners are nice and it is another interesting adventure.  I will drive to the Conference and park in the garage after picking some of the others (in my group) at their Hotel, in the morning.  We registered for the Conference and it is a full schedule for the next 3 days, so I probably won't blog until Sunday.  I will have lots to tell you then.

People are wonderful!

August 1, 2017
I'm on my way to Portland to catch the plane to Maryland.  I will arrive at 5 AM and my grandson, Tyrone will be picking me up.  I met the most refreshing man on the first leg of my journey.  His name was Glenn, 82 going on 83, looked about 60, very healthy and spry.  He was sitting across the isle from me and started talking about the beautiful scenery, as we were riding along.   We were both full-time RVing and he was going to Portland for a Doctors check up.  He was very intelligent, sharp and articulate as well as well-read.  He asked me what I did and I gave him my Shaklee card.  He said he was just "tickled pink" to get my card. then we both laughed because he was about the same dark brown complexion as my husband was, and it would be very hard for him to be "pink".  He used to use Shaklee food supplements and he would definitely be going on the website to order products.  I commented on how healthy he looked, and he said he worked at it, and never used drugs or alcohol.  We talked about the Lord and had a great time.  He was happy with no stress or worries.  The weather here is hot, over 100 today in many places..  It doesn't seem like it because the humidity is low and when you are in the shade, it is cooler.

I contacted my Grandson from the Ukraine, (that I adopted the last time I was here), hoping he would be working today as a wheelchair assistant.  He text-ed me back saying he would be starting work at 1800 hours.  I think that is 6 o'clock in "real" time and my plane leaves at 6:40PM, so I will miss him. Bummer!

I arrived in Portland, took the light rail to the Airport.  On the light rail, I met a lady from New Zealand who owned a Fifth Wheeler RV  that they used camping throughout New Zealand.  Wow, what a world we live in!  I asked her if she knew Jesus, she drew a blank.  I was getting off the train, but I told her that Jesus loved her so much that He died for her.  I am not sure she understood, but a seed was planted.

Wednesday, August 2, 2017
5 AM, arrived at Dulles Airport, with about 2 hours of interrupted sleep, but I feel pretty good.  I had a great flight to Denver, sitting next to a most remarkable young man (20 yrs. old).  He was from Wilmington, N C., just returning from a week of hiking in the Wilderness of the Northwest, with Jesus.
He is attending College in N.C. with a Business major.  He was an amazing listener, very respectful, kind, helpful, attentive, patient, willing to learn, humble, and loved the Lord!  He believes that God has a call on his life, but was not sure exactly what it was, but was willing. He loved people and enjoyed developing relationships.  He was eager to learn more about developing people skills. He was born and raised in Colorado, attended small Christian schools, until College. Their family had a trial, when they lost his Dad, when he was 12..They faced it together, they grew closer to the Lord, and his Mother raised 5 children and was a true soccer Mom, and still is.  He is so proud of her.  He has also had opportunities to give his testimony many times, once to over 800 people.  Of course, I adopted him, and we will be in touch.  He is an amazing young man.  As we were about to leave the plane in Denver to make our connections, he asked me a powerful question.  "If you had any words of Wisdom, what would it be?"  I, of course had some, one was "Trust God".

This journey is amazing, I am loving it!, Oh, I forgot to tell you about Mary.  I met Mary at the Light Rail stop on a bench, waiting for a train. She was African American, born and raised in Portland. What?! She knew and loved the Lord, and was a former Shaklee customer and lost her supplier.  Of, course, I shared the updates with her and gave her a Product Selection guide, telling her how much easier Shaklee is to do , now that we don't have to stock and deliver products.

My grandson picked me up and wow, has he grown spiritually!  The car was washed and cleaned and he had just gotten the oil changed, and said it was working great.  After 2 hours sleep in 24 hours, I'm taking a nap.  I am staying with my adopted family until I leave for the Shaklee Convention.
Good Morning.
I just had 4 hours of sleep and feel like I am ready for the next adventure!
I just had a text from my Grandson in Chicago, he got a new job, working in a store near his house, working with animals, he loves animals! Praise the Lord!
