The weather s
beautiful! Sunny 65 degrees, feels like
72 with a slight breeze. My Sister is
busy working in the garden, which she loves.
I am preparing for my trip to the Coast with her and my trip to
Maryland/Atlanta. I thought I would have
to get the oil changed but I looked up my records and realized that I had he
oil changed on site atg the RV park in Palm desert, 1,000 miles ago, so don't
need it done yet. I guess it doesn't
make sense to get something done, just because it is a good price. I will remember it for the future.
My Sister and I
went to do some errands and attend a meeting yesterday. Had lunch with some of the meeting people,
and met an interesting man that had just come back from camping for the
weekend. He had not done it before his
stroke, which allowed him to retire and do stuff he always wanted to do. His speech and arm was affected, he could say
yes and no, but he used his cell phone by typing like a text and he could
either show it to you, or play it and it would speak. Cool!
He went camping by himself in a small pop-up tent in a public camp
ground. They had bathrooms and showers
for campers, there is a lot of that done around here.
My Cousin came by
and brought some transparent apples and plums he got from his trees. That is done a lot around here. People bring extra stuff from their gardens
to their neighbors.... nice, and they were good..
I discovered that
two of my adopted Grandchildren will be in the same RV park where my Sister and
I are going next week. Woopee! It will
be good to see them again. I met them is
Southern California.
They are a young couple I met, from Northern Virginia,
full time and working from their RV, selling stuff on Amazon and E Bay. They are the ones that gave me the 2 Teddy
bears on Valentines day.
My plan (you know
how that goes) is to leave here on the July 24th, head to Bend, Ore., deliver
the Wedding present of the nursing rocker, to my Nephew and his wife, which is
way over-due. Then head east to eventually be in Atlanta,
Ga, by August 9th. Like I said, that is my plan.
My Sister,
Brother-in-law and I are going to an English neighbor's house (friend of
theirs) for Tea, this afternoon, it should be fun.
