Not leaving you in the dark.

April 13-May 24, 2017
Well I thought I wouldn't need to blog but so much has happened, I guess i don't want to leave you in the dark.
I feel great now but it took until the Tuesday after Easter to get there.  Still don't know what that was about, Oh well.  Easter I had no voice, it was fully back by Tuesday.  It was so good to see my Church Family again.
Friday, for lunch, I met my daughter and Granddaughter at the restaurant where my Granddaughter is the manager.  She was busy Managing, but it was good to see her.
I was glad that I was able to help with the flower decor at the Church on Saturday, for Easter as a part of my Ministry.  It was good to be back in the saddle again.  That night we had a leadership Shaklee meeting at the Golden Corral Restaurant and it was good to see my Shaklee Family again.
After Church on Sunday, and after dinner at Red Lobster with my friend Sarah and her Husband and my adopted Grandson, he and I spent the day together catching up.  It was good.
Monday, I took my car that was acting up, to Willie, my car repair go-to-guy.  He discovered that the place my Grandson took the car to get the oil changed while I was away, had broken 3 of the spark plugs in half and replaced them so the engine would run rough, they estimated the repairs to fix it at $600. He called me to ask about it and I said I would take it to Willie.  Willie did the tune-up for $95, but after that, it was still running rough and he discovered a piston didn't have compression and it would require removing the "head" and it would be a major deal.  He didn't do that, but referred me to another place that said they would do it for $950.00 more or less, depending on what they found.  My daughter has a guy that does all her repair work, and she will get a second opinion for me.  Meanwhile, my friend, ET, (that I am staying with) loaned me her extra car so my grandson could still drive mine here locally.  Once my car is fixed, and I get an OK from Willie to drive across country, I will probably drive back to Oregon and then I would have a tow car, already prepared for towing.  It is a good car if it is fixed.
Yes, I said I would drive the car across country!  I already knew I would not be going back when I thought I would, and to change the plane ticket would cost another $199.00 plus the ticket price, so I will just "miss" the plane for May 2.  When you run with the Lord, you have to be flexible and adaptable and ready for change.
I found out that my daughter's guy will fix the car for $450, Praise the Lord!  Then as my grandson was driving home, the car stopped and after AAA  towed it back to the guy, he said the coil was bad and for $127 more he would fix that.  I trust God to get my car fix appropriately for my travels, or I won't go that way.

Meanwhile, I downloaded a movie called, "Eating you Alive."  I think I talked about this before.  A very impacting movie about how to avoid disease and reverse it by what we eat.  Just "google" Eating you Alive movie and you can download it for $9.99 and have it to look at or show.  It is a documentary movie, very good.  I have been inviting people over for a fellowship to see it, and they have received it well.  My mission in life is to reach 100,000,000 people in my lifetime with a way to freedom from this world's system and this world's medical system is not working!  So, if all of you that read this, evaluate what you are eating and consider that God made our bodies with trillions of cells that only eat food (vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates, & fats).  They have been ordered by God to do what they are supposed to do, (Heal us and keep us well, with the good food that we feed them).  They react to everything that is not a food, (medications, artificial additives, preservatives, synthetics, sugar, etc...) which is why medicines work (if they do), because they cause a reaction.  Every medication has a side effect.
OK, I am going to summarize the happenings, because I didn't blog at the time, and as expected, so much happened that I don't remember all of it.

April 22, 2017
I attended a "Sister to Sister" banquet luncheon that I had purchased tickets for, and sat at the table with the friend (ET) that I am staying with, and 8 others I knew.  Only one Lady at the table that I didn't know, and we fixed that.  It was good food, good Christian fellowship and a great up-lifting program.  We all received a "goodiebag" with a rhinestone tiara, representing a Child of the King, lovely!
After returning home, I called Ronnie's son to see why I wasn't able to reach Ronnie (my best friend for 50 years) since I came back.  I was surprised to learn that she had started radiation and chemotherapy for the second time, three days before, for four weeks.  She has an inoperable brain tumor and after 3 years, it had flared up again. Now I know why I am here and why I am not returning on May 2nd as planned.  I had stayed with her for 6 weeks when she went through the first round and it looks like I will be able to help again.  Her 80th birthday is in the middle of June and I will wait until after that, to return to Oregon.

April 23-May 24, 2017
I had various Doctor's visits for checkups, (because my Health insurance is only good in Maryland) following are the results:
Primary care Doctor reported:
"Ms. Swann, a 74 year 7 month 1week old female is here for her regular follow-up visit.  Patient is here for evaluation of hypertension. No medications, just a stress-free, pain-free, debt free lifestyle and a 10 pound weight loss has her blood pressure close to normal."

Skin Cancer Screening:  No cancer or concerns. (I asked the Doctor if he took Vitamins, he said oh, my wife gives me some stuff

Mamogram: Nothing significant

Colonoscopy:  2 polyps removed, will get results tomorrow.

I feel great!  Still losing weight (haven't weighed but wear a size smaller.)

I had various Shaklee gatherings and showed the documentary movie, "Eating you alive", several times with great results.

I have my car out of the shop and it only needs an exhaust something, I will check with Willy to see what that is all about, it doesn't sound major.
I know I did a short cut on the happenings, but you are probably a little happy about that. (smile)
God is still in control in my life and I am still having fun.  It is a joy to know that all things are working for my good and I have peace knowing that.  It is a "trust God thing".  I am so blessed!  And I want so much to be a blessing to others, it is only right to pass it on.
