More Grand Children, Yeaaaa!

March 30, 2017

Did you watch/hear the Bible Study?  Bishop encouraged us to return to our "First Love".  To re-establish our relationship with God through Jesus and to do the "First Works" which is; to Seek and Save those that are lost.  God hasn't gone anywhere, He doesn't move, we do.

After Bible Study (4:30 PM Pacific) I went to the pool, exercised a while.  Then I met Amanda, a beautiful young lady that was in the hot tub.  She mentioned that her fiancĂ©e, Alex, did RV washing and detailing.   At 7 PM they set up for water volley ball and I played too.  It was fun.  The rules are; that you can hit the ball as many times as you want, as long as it doesn't hit the water.   I like it.  After the game, they all piled into the hot tub, all 17 of them!  The hot tub was crowded, I took a picture, sorry, I can't share it.

Wednesday::Alex and Amanda and their two (part wolf) dogs, came over this morning and we made a deal for Alex to wash & shine the RV, clean the roof and the awning, and buff off the line that I made while side-swiping the guard rail, all for $100.  He said he would come back in the evening when it got cooler. (92 degrees today).

I left the bed up because I was cleaning and organizing, finding out what was stored there and throwing out the unnecessary items.  Guess what?  I found a whole box of tax receipts, that I needed for doing my taxes, dated before June of last year.  Who knew?  God knew, and he knew I needed them now.  I love God, He loves me, cares for me, supplies my needs, looks out for me even when I don't have a clue.  Awesome!

I decided to cook dinner for my new Grandchildren (Alex and Amanda).  Amanda took me to the grocery store to get some supplies and cash for the RV wash.  I tried to use the ATM, I forgot my Pin number and thought I had it in my phone.  I saw a number but I didn't believe that was it. (It was).  So we shopped and I thought I could get cash back by adding it to my groceries.  Guess what?  I needed my pin number to get it.  Finally, Amanda suggested I could purchase a Gift Card, which I did.   I called the Credit Union and they said it would take 5-10 days to get a new one sent to me.  She suggested that I look for it in my important papers and then put it in my phone.  Well, I found it and guess what?  It was in my phone all the time!!! I just didn't believe that it was the number!  That is how we are with God sometimes, He is always there, we have access through Jesus, and we don't believe it, so we don't call on Him, rely on Him, or trust Him to solve our issues.

Alex finished washing the RV in the dark and will finish buffing the side tomorrow.  We had a good dinner, rotisserie chicken, salad, baked potato and garlic bread.  I got to know my new Grandchildren,  Alex was a professional Dirt Bike Operator and had so many accidents that he has broken every bone in his body.  Do you think maybe God has a plan for Him?  His back is giving him pain and he is on a non-narcotic pain medicine trial where they give him shots every three days.  We talked about Shaklee.  His parents are from England and in the park I will be going to next.  I hope to meet them in Menifee.

My Sister called and we had a good long talk.  She is doing better, still bruised but healing.  She had a bad reaction to the pain meds and now she is only taking her blood thinner for Atriel Fribulation and her Vitalizer supplements.  She also has drawn closer to the Lord since her fall.  Praise the Lord!

Thursday:I worked on taxes yesterday and still have more to do today.  I have been sleeping on the pull-out couch since the bed is still up in the air getting organized, although the couch is not bad, I will be glad when I can get back to my own bed.

God doesn't need us, He jst loves us.

March 28, 2017

Did you miss me?  I can't believe it has been 4 days, life has been full and oh, so, fulfilling!  If there is anything missing in your life, just fill it with Jesus, HE IS ALL WE NEED!
Wow, catching up is hard to do.
Saturday:  I cooked spaghetti and salad and cheese biscuits and invited Joseph, Jason and Heather and Andy over for dinner.  We had a great time.
Jason and Heather had gone out to Box Canyon to paint their trailer and got stuck in the sand.  Gary pulled them out and they were able to finish the painting, except for the logo on the trailer and come back to the park.
Joseph's leg is good, now he is having trouble with an abscessed tooth, his cheek was swollen and he was having trouble eating.

Sunday:  I was hoping that Joseph could come over for the streaming live, (which was awesome) and then attend the church service with Pastor Jack here at the park. Joseph's tooth was worse and he ended up going to the Urgent care and then to the emergency room and they drew 3 cc's of black puss out of his face. The adversary is really angry about his salvation and is trying to throw him off course.(but thee devil is a liar and has no teeth!). When Joseph returned, late in the afternoon, he stopped by.  They gave him antibiotics and he was feeling much better.  We prayed for him at church . He went home to get some rest.  He was up all night with pain.

I watched the Live Stream of my Church at 6:30AM (AWESOME).  Bishop talked about, IS MY FAITH MY WALK?
Faith is both a noun and a verb.
Noun:  FAITH: A system of belief or Confidence.
Verb: FAITH: a belief, trust or loyalty in someone or something.

Faith without knowledge will lead to error.
You can't believe in God without knowledge.
Hebrews 12
1. Our faith is the Word of God.
2.  Our faith is the Will of God.
3.  Our faith is Jesus. (The expressed image and fulfillment of our faith)
Do I believe the Faith (Jesus)?
You either live by your faith or you don't!
Seeking Him, draws me to Him.(Jesus)Do I desire to please Him?
Everyone who seeks Him, finds Him!
Finds His love, Peace, Joy, Strength, Help, Confidence in the outcome, Healing,
Victory over every circumstance, Sufficiency,     Completeness, and right with the Father God.
He is the reward-er of those who diligently seek Him.
When I believe the FAITH:
        A.  I obey the word of God. (The same instructions for all of us) Obedience is always out of a desire to please.
        B.  I will seek the commandments of God.
                1. It is the way God knows we love Him.
                2.  We don't think they are grievous to us.
                3.  They are for our benefit.
God is good.
God loves us
God owns everything
He is God
He doesn't need us!
God's commandments are FOR US!

I went to Church in the Park and heard Pastor Jack.  Got to see some friends I met here before. It was good.

I have been working on my taxes and making headway.  I saw my first Roadrunner (bird that runs on the ground).  It looks just like the one in the cartoon.  At the park, they don't want you to feed them because they eat snakes, rodents and ground hogs!  They are so fast, I haven't been able to get a picture yet.

I put sun protectors (reflectors) around the windows of the cab of the RV to keep the heat out.  Andy invited me to have grilled chicken and grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potato, dinner with he and Gary outside at Andy's place, across the street.  It was delicious and perfectly cooked!  We had a good visit.  He invited Joseph too, but he needed to get some rest.

Monday: I was supposed to leave the park today but instead, I am staying until Saturday, then I'm  going to Menifee to see some friends for a couple of days, then head toward Oregon (I think).  I had considered flying from San Diego to Maryland, since my flight from Portland stops in San Diego, but to do that would cost me almost $200 more.  I would have to store the RV, etc.  so it didn't make sense.
WINDY!  The wind is strong today and I was considering putting the awning up, so the wind wouldn't mess with it, but it seemed to be fairing very well.  Joseph came by before he left and helped me lift up the bed so I could access the storage nder it.   I hadn't had it up since I left so didn't remember what I stored there. I found some "pool noodles", that I slit the full length and wrapped around the arm of my awning so people wouldn't hit their head and when the door is open, it cushions it so the door won't bang against it too.
I continued to work on my taxes and later, went to the pool and met Pam and Mike, Christians from Montana.  A friend of Gary's was supposed to come and change the oil in the RV today, but it was too windy, so he will come on Wednesday.  I got on a Shaklee conference call and while I was on the call, January called and I missed her call.  Did I tell you about January?  Well, she is my (maybe adopted Grand Daughter soon).  I called to check on a cruise and she is helping me with cruise arrangements.  She found out that I was full-time RVing and she got excited because she wanted to do it too.  We also talked about Shaklee and she had RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) since she was 16.  She has been a VEGAN and is doing pretty well, but she was very interested in Shaklee.  She lives in Atlanta and she gave me her personal information so we have been talking.

I will listen to the live stream of Bible Study tonight (try to have guests).  I would encourage you , if you cannot attend, that you watch it tonight at 7:30PM Eastern time (4:30 Pacific) www.fthcm.org, (then click on Streaming Live) Tuesdays at that time, and Sundays 9:30 AM and rebroadcast at 12:30 PM Eastern (6:30AM & 9:s0 AM Pacific).  YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!

No-bug-no-humidity-85-degree-to-the-pool-under-palm trees-day!!!!

Mar 24, 2017

WOW!  What a wonderful day!  My Grandson came over and we had a great talk.  He is awesome!  We went to the pool together, he went to the hot tub for his knee, and I went to the pool.  His knee is doing better, he was on a cane when I arrived and he didn't need it today.  After my swim, he went to the grocery store on his bicycle and brought me back some apples, and ground turkey.
Then he went back home, made dinner for his roommate and then brought me back an oriental dinner he had cooked, he is a good cook.

Do you remember Jason and Heather, my Grandchildren that gave me the teddy bears for Valentines Day?  Well, they are sort of here. Meaning they are booked here but are out painting their rig.  I didn't know that Andy knew them but they some how got stuck in Box Canyon while painting their rig.  Don't know the whole story but will let you know when I know.  Andy and Gary went out to help them tonight.

85 degrees today and I put the awning out, with Andy & Joseph's help, and sat out in my outdoor chairs enjoying the no-bug-no-humidity outdoor camping life.  WONDERFUL!

Suprise!

March 21,2017

Yesterday, I walked to the pool/laundry area with my cart that holds my laundry and my swimming bag.  On the way down the hill, a kind gentleman offered to take the cart for me .  He knew the Lord,  (Jesus) and was a retired teacher.  I met my Christian-Organic-Hippy-Actress-friend at the laundry and while the clothes were washing I called one of our Shaklee leaders in Maryland to set up a Shaklee get together when I get back.  It will be April 15th at 5 PM at the Golden Corral in Waldorf on Rt. 301.  Ya'll come.

I went to the pool to exercise, while the clothes were drying.  What a way to do laundry!  Woopee!  Then I got some more good exercise walking back up the hill.  I saw a sign that said, "Watch your small pets, Coyotes, Owls and Hawks are in the area."  That would be the area where I am.  All I have seen is rabbits and groundhogs ( I guess that is why the Coyotes, Owls and Hawks are here).  There are supposed to be rattle snakes too, but my Grandson who lives here said he has seen Coyotes but no rattle snakes since he has been here.

Mar 23, 2017
What day is this?  I started this blog on Tuesday, OK it is Thursday and you haven't heard from me because I wasn't finished with the blog, so I didn't send it out.  Oh, I did my taxes and I almost finished them Tuesday and Wednesday.  I can email them to my CPA and he will have them ready when I get back to Maryland, in time for me to msail them by the 15th of April.

I watched the Streaming live of our Bible Study (www.fthcm.org) and Bishop was back and on fire.  Wow, what a message!! I would tell you about it but it was too much, you will just have to tune in next Tuesday 7:30 Eastern, 4:30 Pacific time and hear it for yourselves.

SURPRISE! I am in Palm Desert again and in the same spot as last time, right at the gate!  Praise the Lord, it is great Shaklee exposure!  Andy is still next door and Gary helped me back in, I will hook up in the morning.  (It is dark now).  I woke up this morning and thought I was leaving from Solidad to go North toward Oregon.  NOT!  I said my good bye's and left to go to Walmart Auto Center to get the oil changed in my RV but I stopped at the 99 cent store to get groceries and when I arrived at Walmart there were 6 cars ahead of me and each one took 30 minutes.  Soooo, I left for Palm Desert.  The Lord was pulling me South to see my Grandson (who just got saved).  He was able to get an extra week at Palm Desert so it worked out since I was only 2 1/2 hours away.  I didn't hook up tonight, will in the Morning. Good night.

Patience to endure.

Mar 20, 2017

Saturday, I heard from my newly saved Grandson.  He twisted his knee, I guess like twisting your ankle. He had to keep it elevated and wear a knee brace.  We talked about trials, and how going through them makes us stronger.  He got it, and I was very pleased with his attitude.  He glorified God, silenced the Devil, and is bearing fruit!  He found a walking stick that helped him walk and he was determined to go to Church at the Park with Pastor Jack on Sunday.

I talked to my other adopted Grandson, in Maryland, who has my car.  He is doing so well, growing in the Lord.  I am so proud of him.  His Aunt was  hurt in an accident and he took her flowers!  Wow!

I talked to my Brother-in-law and he said my Sister in Oregon had to go to the hospital to get 2 blood transfusions because she had been taking a blood thinner medication and all of the bruising from the fall, caused her to loose blood and she became very tired.  She  is out of the hospital now and on pain medication.

I was awakened by a call from a friend in Maryland Sunday morning and it was just in time to hear the live stream of my Church.  My Grandaughter here, was invited to a retreat today, she came over to get her Shaklee shake.  I hadn't seen her for several days, it was good to see her.

Rev McLauhlin did the message at FTHCM of Maryland, in Bishop's absence.   His question was:
Do I Have Patience?
Our Faith; (God's Word, God's Will, and His Son Jesus) is our walk.
We are complete in Jesus. (All I need, my fulfillment)
OUR FAITH MUST BE OUR WALK!
OUR WALK MUST BE OUR LIFE!
Patience is NOT:
          Apathy,
           Laziness,
What we do when we don't have a plan,
          Having a lack of vision.

Patience is: Enduring without distractions.
Enduring is:  To do something difficult for a long time,
Distraction is: To be turned aside with enticements.
Do I have the ability to walk, during difficult times, while being drawn aside?
Trials are tests and the objective of a test is to pass!

I.  I have patience when I do not grow weary in well-doing.
          We must go through.
We have a choice of the "High Life" when our affections are on     Jesus. or
The "Low Life", when our affections are on other things.

          A. I don't grow weary when I don't give in, I go through!
          B. I don't grow weary when I remain firm, while suffering.                               (without yielding)
          C. I keep going throug).
II. I have patience when I seek out the Wisdom of God. (Having a craving for, a strong inward desire for HIS WISDOM.

Wisdom is: applying knowledge, and applying it in a Biblical way.

          A.  I reject Man's wisdom.
                   1.  Man's wisdom will support man's desires.
                   2.  Man's wisdom will be tantalizing and beguiling                                           (attractive).
                   3.  Man's wisdom is limited.
          B.  I reject the World's wisdom.
It will always sound good, quick and easy and without                             consequences.
          C.  I live according to God's wisdom.
                   1.  It tells us how to endure.
                   2.  It tells us what to do.
                   3.  Go to God, He has the answers:
                             Peace, be still
                             I am with you.
                             Always edifying
                             Always glorifying God.
God's wisdom is Jesus, the author and finisher of our                               FAITH.
II.  I have patience when I know my reward is in heaven.
          A.  I know I am steadfast in the faith.
          B.  I am unmovable, unshakable from my faith.
          C.  I am always abounding in the work of the Lord. (Overflowing                     energy in the work of the Lord.)

Sunday was another 80+ degree day today and a nice breeze, I am beginning to get used to this.  Lovin' it!

After I watched the Streaming live, I sat outside under my awning in my  chair with my feet up enjoying the breeze.  It was great.  Later, my Christian-Organic-Actress-Hippy friend took me to the local "Dollar store" and Market to get a few things.  She had to rush back to take delivery of their "New" Camper that they will travel in because it is better on gas.  They will be able to store their Motor Home while they are gone.

She told me it was going to rain on Monday, so I  put all my folding chairs and table, and mat, away and tried to put my awning up.  I got stuck and had to get two of my neighbors to help.  I think I got it now, and would be able to do the whole process by myself next time.  The problem with putting all the outside stuff out, is putting all away again, oh well, such is life!
I also put my slide (the extension to the RV that makes it bigger) in, because the rain can collect in the awning above it and keep it from moving.  That happened to us with our other Motor Home.  We had to go out, get on a ladder and push up on the bow, that the water had collected in, and empty it before we could get the slide in.

Well it is after noon on Monday and it still hasn't rained.  I see rain all around me in the mountains but not here.  They changed the forecast to sunny.   The temperature is 67 degrees and feels like 73.  It is supposed to rain tomorrow and Wednesday, but what do they know?

I just talked to the man who sold me the RV and thanked him for leaving me all his stuff in the RV.  Yesterday. the awning was flapping and I found a strap that I didn't know I had, that stabilized the awning and kept it from flapping.  I called him to thank him and encourage him because I had heard his house had burned.  He told me it had burned to the ground but no one was hurt.   He is a Minister and knows that "All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose." Rom 8:28

Stuff and things can be replaced, we are fearfully and wonderfully made.  We have been created to endure hardship for His plan.  God has purposed our lives to count for Him, to further His plan.  Sometimes stuff and things can get in our way.  What if your house burned down to the ground?  What would you be thinking?  Could you see it from God's perspective?  Do we count the stuff and things or the amount of them, as the value in our lives?  What is important to God?  In times of trials and situations, how do we think?

I believe we need to know how to think before stuff happens so we will be better equipped to go through.  God's got us when we know Him through His son JESUS!  Jesus is the reason for any season!

Can it get any better than this?

March 17, 2017

Can it get better than this? My Grandson, that I met in Palm Desert, just received Jesus as Lord and Savior of his life!  He called me with some issues that were weighing heavy on his heart, he dumped on me and the only thing I could offer was Jesus!  Jesus works every time!  He was so uplifted and hopeful and happy after he received the free gift of Salvation!  God loved him so much, He sent me from Maryland, and him from Chicago, brought him through 8 months of freedom from heroin addiction, to Palm Desert so we could adopt each other, just for this day!  God is a wonderful God!  I love Him!

I also called today to see about the Emissions Inspection for my RV that was due July 5th in Maryland.  The lady (Julie), told me that I could get the inspection done in any state, and fax the results in to Maryland!  Woopee!  I am free to move about the country!  I asked her if she knew Jesus, she said, "Very well".  I asked her if she had a good church home, she said she did but she was open.  I gave her the church live stream, (www.FTHCM.org) and my blog information (http://floourish2finish.blogspot.com), and told her I would pray for her, and I did.  She was happy.

Yesterday, I took Mr. Bill's walking stick to my Christian-Organic-Hippy-Actress-Friend's RV .  Her site is near him, he left the stick at my house, at the dinner we had the night before.  It was a nice walk, down and up a steep hill, good exercise!
I warmed up the dinner we had the night before, and Joe (the one who helped me discover the radio, fixed my awning, propane, told me about the tire skirts, etc...) and his wife Pat came for dinner and we fellowshipped until about 9 PM.  They are from Downy, Calif. and were only up here for a week.
Mr. Bill came by with his walking stick, he thanked me and I sent him home with a plate.

I have been quiet about my weight progress because there wasn't much progress,( I thought) so not much to report, (I thought).  Well, sometimes what we think is lie.  I was afraid to get on the scales because of what it would report.  I had been inching up in pounds and I expected a poor report.
I am happy to report, I WAS WRONG!  I am down 2 pounds below my lowest weight on this journey, for a total of 11 lbs. and 27 inches!  I am encouraged!  I am losing some of my stomach and getting a little shape back.

Do I believe the Faith?

March 16,2017

Another wonderful morning!  It is 71 degrees, at 10:30 AM, feels like 74 and going up tp 81!  Woopee!
Last evening I had a dinner with my Christian-Actress-Organic-Hippy-Friend, and some of her friends that she went into the "Highways and Byways" to find.  Her husband came and put in a guest appearance, but couldn't stay.  Joe & Pat, (the couple that I wanted to thank, by having them to dinner) couldn't come, but they are coming tomorrow night.
There was Mr. Bill, a former film maker for shows like "Barney Miller", "Archie Bunker" etc.., he also used to be in Shaklee 30 years ago and was talking about the goodness of Alfalfa.  A beautiful lady, with a beautiful voice,(is almost 50 and looks 30) named Genie who writes and sings Christian songs.  She and her husband lived in Haiti filming for awareness of the Haiti plight. ( Her husband was working on a film project in their rig and couldn't come.)  She brought her adopted (African American) son (11 years old and very intelligent, she is home-schooling him.  They have a website: www.geniemusic.com

We had a great time. Genie was interested in Vitamin C and I gave her a Product Guide and some Shaklee Vitalized immunity that I had (equivalent of eating 16 oranges in a fizzy drink).  All in all it was a wonderful fellowship.

I called the FTHCM church and while I was on hold, I heard part of Bishop's message.
The question was, do I believe the Faith? Heb 10:23
          If I believe the faith:
·        I obey the Word of God.
·        I perform the Will of God
·        I conform to the Son of God

If I am to do that, I need to Change and be always changing for the better!

What? A radio?

Mar, 15, 2017

What a life!  I am soooo grateful for all that I am blessed with.  This is such a blessing, and an adventure. even when I don't go away from my "house"!  I am seeing more and more clearly that I can truly trust God!

Yesterday, Joe came and brought me the strap for the awning and put it on for me, then he put the propane regulator on for me. then he helped me discover a great thing!  There was a little compartment on the outside of my RV that had a lock and I had tried to get it open to see what was inside and couldn't.  I asked Joe if he knew what it was and he said it was a radio.  WHAT, A RADIO?  He helped my get it open and not only was it an AM/FM radio but a cassette player and it worked!  WOW!  I had been looking in thrift stores for a cassette player, and here it is!  It also had an outdoor electric plug.

I am still discovering what this RV has.  Joe also pointed out that I had the best kind of wheel covers (canvas skirts that you attach to the side of the RV to protect the tires from sun rot).  Just in time to protect them from the sun since it is the first time it has been needed.  He also showed me how to remove the streak that I put on the side of the RV when I side-swiped the guard rail on the bridge, in the dark, the last time I came here.  Wow he was so helpful.  I am having a dinner tonight and I will invite them.

I invited some people to the live stream which worked this time, but no one came.  Rev. Sis. Wright did such a great job.
Her message was on " Have I cast away my confidence in my faith?"  This is what I received from it:
·        Have I moved away from my faith?  Why?
              A.  The deceitfulness of sin attracts us because it appeals                             to our flesh.
I respond to and by the flesh, rejecting the power                               of Grace.
              B.  Have the trials of life caused me to place my faith in                something or someone else, other than my faith?
(Jesus has overcome every trial and IT CAME TO PASS!)
Do I have the patience to wait on God?  Knowing
it will be worked out for my good?
               D.   Have unmet expectations caused me to cast away my                       faith?
Have I returned to an old system of belief?
Have unmet expectations caused me to return to                                 the old way of reacting?
The Faith:  The Word of God.
                 The Will of God.
                 The Son of God- Jesus
YOUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL YOU..... DON'T FAIL YOUR FAITH!

My real Sister in Oregon called to tell me thanks for sharing Shaklee Vitalizer with her .  She has been using the Vitalizer for over a year and she fell and didn't break anything!  Praise the Lord! Every other time she fell, she broke something.  She was coming out of a theater and tripped on something and fell, hitting her head and dislocating her shoulder.  They took her to the hospital and there were no broken bones, no head injuries and they re-located her shoulder.  Other than pain (taking pain pills) and bruises, she is OK, thank God!  She has a group of friends that are caring for her round the clock.  Pretty good for an 80 year old!

Another hot day, this is great, almost need the air conditioner, but there is a nice breeze.
