March 15, 2020

Life is continuing to be such an adventure and so exciting!  When you know that all things,  ALL THINGS,  ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for GOOD, to them that love Father and are CALLED according to His purpose. Rom 8:28  So what are we fearful, anxious about and worried about?  Do we believe it?  Really?  Maybe we don't love Father God, or we don't believe we are called to His purpose?  We are responsible for who controls our life...so...I chose Father God and His son Jesus... who have you chosen to be the ruler of your life?  By their fruit, you shall know them.  I have a suggestion, Choose Jesus, it turns out better!!!

My friends and Grandchildren have blessed me so.  They are so awesome!  I want to thank you all again for blessing me with money for the car!  I have such peace about the car and I know that Father will provide the best for me at this time.  I am going to wait until this all "works out" before I share how Father is working it.  He has me in a wait mode right now, I always know it will work out to my good and already he fixed my tag situation by shutting down the DMV's in both Maryland and Florida and Maryland gave me 120 days after the end of the Virus crises to get my tags!  What a God!
A friend and fellow worker in Father's Kingdom and our Ministry stayed with me the weekend of the 14-15th and it was a wonderful blessing!  She is from Clermont, FL and our first overnight guest!

My Grandson who is on the lease with me left suddenly on the 16th to visit his family in Indiana and he surprised me and came back today.  I took him to the airport when he left (7 miles away) and we pulled up in the departure area and there were NO CARS for any of the Airlines!  Wow, I thought I had missed the rapture!  After we stopped to let him out, about 3 cars showed up, he said there were only 24 people on the plane that held 170.  On the return flight he said on the first flight, there were 6 and the second, there were 9, so he didn't have to sit by anyone.

We are on "only go out of the house if you have to" mode and it is fine, I have a screened deck that allows us to enjoy the outdoors when it is not too hot.

A lot has happened, life is never dull when you are submitted and committed to the one who has everything planned out.  Father God has the plan and every knee will bow to the name of Jesus one way or another, either in honor and respect or out of fear.  We choose, but better choose now rather than later.

I will keep you informed.

Wow, my Father God is awesome!

Mar 8, 2020

This adventure with Father God is amazing.  It is hardly ever what you think because Father thinks far above our thoughts.  Well, I told you I would keep you posted on the car happenings.  I thank God for all of you who contributed to my car situation, may He bless you abundantly, ten fold your gift and more!  I am blown away that within a week He has blessed me with $900 towards the car and I only have gotten down to the "P's", Praise my Father God and His son Jesus!  .  I shared the good news with my Verizon Grandson and he texted me back after sending $300 saying  " For getting Grandma a car please, let's go people."  He is so sweet.  He was home on vacation this week and stayed home with the children (6 months and 4 yrs old) so his wife could have a break.  Wow, what a witness for Husbandhood and Fatherhood!

The first money I received was from  my Husband's cousin with a message:
"I read your post about your needing repair and a sent you a gift. I hope you receive it in the spirit of love that it was sent. I've told you before that it was cousin Floyd that inspired me to take the leap of faith into the ministry. So I owe him and you a debt of gratitude for encouraging me to be where I am today..... Basking in God's Glory.!!!! thank you".  He is now the Pastor of My Husband's home Church.  What a blessing!

I am so humnled by the responses, I have about 4 people who indicated they would send something soon.  I know Father will provide, a car before my tags run out at the end of March.  If you would like to contribute, any amount is appreciated, I don't want to go into debt, so whatever

Almost a month in apartment livingwhen y phone was fixed, I asked him if he knew an old, good mechanic that was cheap

March 1, 2020

We have been so blessed with everything we need.  Father God has blessed us so, and without spending much money, we have completely furnished the apartment!  A member of the Fellowship gave us a new couch sleeper, ( now we have room for guests), two oriental rugs, 10 framed original oil paintings, a chair and ottoman, a toaster, blender and some other things we needed.  And everything is top quality, matches and is our style!  God is so good! I will send some pictures as soon as we finish getting organized.
We are setteled in emotionally and getting along much better.  We just had to adjust.

Now my car (2000 Honda CRV) is acting up.  I paid for a new engine last year and now the backend is acting up. I adopted a Grandson in December at the Verizon store.  I hadn't seen him since then but I was having some issues with my phone and I went to the store.  He saw me and came up and said, " Grandma Swann!"  and hugged me. He knows Jesus and is a really good guy.
After the phone was fixed I asked him if he knew of an old, good mechanic in the area, that was inexpensive.  He said yes and proceeded to refer me to Noel, he called him and told him I was coming to get the car checked out.

I went to  Noel's, he was in Lake Worth, about 25 minutes away.
When I arrived he took the car for a drive and I stayed and talked to a customer who was in a used car business that had been coming to him for 14 years.  When Noel came back with the car, he told me that it was the differential and depending on the cost of the part, it would cost between $500-700 to fix and in addition, he saw something with the engine that he would have to investigate further.  I told him I was Grandma Swann and up for aboption.  Then I asked him, "If I was your Grandmother, what would you recommend that I do?  He said, "If you were my Grandmother, I would suggest that you keep water and oil in it and drive it until it dies because putting money into it would continue to happen because it is so old ."  Wow, I was impressed that he was so honest.
When I told my Grandson at the Verizon store about it, I got this text back from him:

"Well tell all the Grandchildren that I said, we all need to contribute to get Grandma a car.  I can start by contributing $200-$250.  A Honda or Toyota is a very reliable car.".
Wow! You never know how Father God is going to work!  I thanked him, he is so sweet!  Then later on, he text me   and reminded me again.
I prayed about it and got confirmation and Father said to ask!  That is His system and He told me to...so I am asking.  I love you and this is very hard for me, but I must be obedient.  Any amount will be much appreciated.
I guess I need to give you the way to contribute.   I have Cash App, and Zelle, and PayPal.  Phone 301-580-2824
My tags are due to be changed by March 31st, so I will probably need to get it by then.  This was very hard for me, I love you all and I don't have any expectations of you.  I only know that,  my Father God, will provide, I hope you will pray and obey and I will receive with a grateful heart, and it is perfectly fine if you are not in position to, or choose not to.  I pray Father God's richest blessings on you whether you contribute or not.  Thank you for listening.  I will keep you posted.

Apartment living after 42 years, WoW

Wow, Wow, Wow!!!  Life is so alive!  It still amazes me that at age 77 I can grow, change, move with the young and keep up (sort of).  I am so honored and blessed to be counted in the number of those God has chosen to be in His next move.  It is not without sacrifice, or challenges but it is with JOY!
When we know Jesus as the Son of God, and know Him personally, we are then restored into fellowship with Father God Almighty and willing to give up everything that we held dear to our hearts for Him.  Knowing that He loves us more than anybody, and wants the best for us.   We don't know what is best for us and I have learned, that without Him we can do nothing that works out right.  So life moves on:

Adjusting for both of us is interesting and emotionally challenging.  We are heavily involved with the new Ministry and it's growth as well as establishing our home in an Apartment.  Let me explain.  My Grandson and I are polar opposite in personality, background, experiences and expressions.  He is nearly 52 and we both are pretty much "set" in our ways.  God is working with both of us to to help each other grow (which can be stressful at times).  The things we have in common are that we both grew up in a strict religious background and were saved at an early age,  We both strayed from God and we both returned and are fully submitted and committed to Him now.  We both lost or gave up everything that was important to us and are sold out to Father God and working to stay in God's plan for our lives.   We were both florists.  We both love fellowships and love to entertain in style.  And we love nature and travel.  We both were called here together by God and we both know that it is important that we work out our differences for the plan that God has for , and it is working!

Spiritually, we are good for each other, we have different gifts and we can help each other in many ways and that is great because we are both growing and God is fine tuning us for His service. I received a message from Father a few days ago, that jerked my chain!  He asked me if I loved Him from my heart, and if I was totally surrendered to Him.  I had put Him on hold, thinking He would wait until I finished doing my moving thing.  I had not read His Word, prayed to Him or listened to Him in almost two weeks.  I had gotten distracted and the adversary had drawn me off course.  I repented and got back on track, but that was a wake-up call.

Two days ago I was out looking for furniture at a Hospice resale store and found a Dinig room table that seats 12+ with 6 chairs and two leaves that extend it, a Dining room Hutch to match in beautiful dark wood and a small desk with four drawers, all for $255.  It is going to be great for Fellowships and eligant dinners.  Asher is a Chef and loves to cook and hates paper and plastic (Thank God we have a dishwasher).   Well, Ididn't mean to make this so long but when I don't blog every day....😅😆

NEW BEGINNING

Feb. 5, 2020-New Beginning

Wow,  all I can say is Praise Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit!  Friday I left the RV Park at the lake.
Monday Asher, my Grandson and I are living in a two bedroom, two bath luxury apartment complete with lake, pool, state of the art fitness gym, and ducks.  We applied on Friday, and the same day, a man called because he saw the RV in the Shopping center parking lot and asked me if I wanted to sell it.  I didn't have that in mind, but God did and it is sold.  We signed a lease for a year and it is about 50 feet from where Daniel (Elijah) and his family live.  He is the one that Father God brought me here to Royal Palm Beach to be under his Spiritual covering.  Only God could have done this in such a short period of time.  Monday at noon we signed the lease, got the keys and people showed up from the Ministry and by 5 PM everything was out of the RV,( Lots of stuff) in the apartment and 6 PM the RV was sold!  The man that bought it was real nice and I invited him to a fellowship, he seemed interested in coming.

What a mind shift, He is showing this old Lady that I don't know anything without Him.   Father is showing me that I can give up everything for Him and still be taken care of even so much better!  Please call, text or email me if you want my snail mail address.  It has been since 1978 that I lived in an apartment.

We, of course, had no furniture.  Asher has some things, (mostly kitchen items, he is a chef) in storage in Clermont, FL which is about 3-4 hours away, so we are set on Kitchen stuff.   The first night we each had to sleep on the floor.  The floor was carpeted and I had a 3 inch topper which helped a lot.  Asher had pillows but he broke his back and ribs and has other health issues that kept him from sleeping.  Last night we both got beds, praise you Father!  What a wonderful 9+ hours of sleep!  The day before we moved was bulk trash day here.  We were on the way to a Super Bowl fellowship and picked up three small nice tables 3 lamps and 2 dressers.  God will supply all our needs!

Leaving the Lake again

So much is happening in the spiritual realm that I don't even see, and it is high impact even when I don't see it.  It is so amazing to become aware of the fact that there is so much more activity and happenings in the spiritual world and it is very important to know whose side you are on.  When you know Jesus personally, and abide in Him you win, because you are on the winning side.    He died for us and has given us the keys to the Kingdom and we are truly free because our battles are being fought and won by Heavenly Hosts against the ungodly.  You may not get it and I surely didn't for years while being in a traditional Church.  It was not taught and I am so blessed that I learned about it even in the latter part of my life.  Father God is so deep and powerful and amazing and so gloriously merciful and loving toward us!  He doesn't have to be.  He chose to love us unconditionally and then we treat Him so badly.
Well, we are about to leave the Lake again, this may be the last time for awhile.  I am being nudged out of the RV life to be more stable in a single location.  It will give us a better location for fellow- shipping, where people will know where we are and can come.  My Grandson is a Chef and loves to entertain, so it will be a perfect fit for both of us.  We are set to go into the Apartment  around Feb. 9th if all goes well.  It is a lovely luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a Community pool, exercise room, and Bowling Alley, and a movie theater.  We are subleasing it for 3 months and have the option to continue the lease after that time without a deposit.  We will be paying $400 less per month than the regular rent because the tenant had to leave before the lease was up.  It is such a blessing.  We don't have furniture, but Father God will work that out.  We have everything for the Kitchen and the rest will be worked out.

Back at the Lake

1-17-20

I am so sorry that I have not blogged until now. 😒 It is hard for this old lady to keep up with life and things are just moving so fast.  This is not what I signed up for as a 77 year old, but Father God's plans were already set and I didn't listen when I should have so now I am catching up with Him.  His grace is sufficient but He is wasting no time like I did.
I am back where I started from 2 weeks ago in South Bay, Florida, on the last blog.  I didn't deal with the slow leak in the tire until I got ready to leave Breezy Hill (there is no hill within 3 hours).  My Grandson decided to go on an R & R to Boca Raton at an Air B&B, which is about 10 miles from Popano Beach and he left 2 days before and was not available to help with the fix'in to leave.  The hose that was, is still hanging, taped with duct tape(standard issue with RV's), I will deal with that later because I haven't heard from my "go-to-RV-guy yet.
When I got ready to leave, the tire was low again  and after trying to call my roadside assistance service and getting no where fast, I called my Grandson that works in the RV Park.  He came immediately and drove me in his truck, to two tire places until we found one that would deal with the RV.  I set it up to bring the RV back.  He drove me back to the RV and I drove back to the Tire place.

I adopted two more Grandchildren and I got to Minister to them, as both of them had lost loved ones within the last year.  After changing the tire stem to one that will last 12 years or more, and checking the rest of the tires, they charged me $6 and sent me on my way.  God is so good!  I left my car near the entrance of the RV Park and was able to hook up the car.  The most difficult part is telling whether the lights are working on the car after it is hooked up. (brake lights, turn signals, etc...)  Since it is hard to apply the brakes on the RV and at the same time look at the back of the car to see if they work, I asked two people passing by if they could help, they did and told me they weren't working, then went on their way.  After checking the connections, getting back in, getting out, getting back in, several times, I turned the connections around, put the turn signal on and WALAH!  It worked.  The lesson I learned, don't ask French speaking Canadians to help (they didn't help much), and if the turn signals work, trust God that the rest of the lights will follow.  They did!  So I made the 70 miles with no more incidents and I unhooked and hooked up by my self.  Just Jesus and me, like it used to be.

A lot has happened in the Ministry, I have been placed as Ministry Head over the Membership Ministry.  My Grandson is over Hospitality and the Ministry is growing, we can see the fruit almost before the tree is grown.  There are so many people who have been hurt, damaged, judged and disillusioned by the traditional Church and they are in dire need of restoration.  Father God has another plan that is much like the early Church where those that believe and are on one accord meet together "breaking bread from house to house"., Acts 2:42-47  I have shared with many of you, the vision and you can find it on my personal website: Grandmaswann.com under Grandma's Ministry..

1-1-2020
Wow, the first day of 2020 and I am blogging!  I’m amazed that 20 years ago we were all dealing with the new millennium and all the fears, changes, alarms, challenges.  Now 20 years later, we are into a new decade, with all the opportunities to be better than the last 20 years, but knowing that Father God has birthed us into new beginnings and provided everything we need for accomplishing His will for our lives.
It is so simple to me, (not easy) if we give up everything we want, to do it God’s way, the way He set it up, everything is better.  He gives us everything we need, (not everything we want) but miraculously, it is just perfect for us, how did He know?  It is called trusting God.  Check it out, who do we really trust?  Really? Banks? Self? Money? Our own mind? Our job or employment? Experience? Our thoughts? www?  Social Media? The cloud? Other people? Electricity? Our phone? Water system. Government?  America? Our Parents?  Church?  Car? Etc…  If we live long enough, (or are aware enough) we can see that our (human, world) systems cannot be truly trusted.  Guess whose system can be trusted, every time, all the time, beyond and before time?  God even made time.  Soooo, why is it so hard for us to give up our way for His, completely?
WANT A STRESS FREE LIFE?  DO IT GOD’S WAY!!!!  It is the only way.  He even gave us a map, His Holy word, and if that isn’t enough, He gave us His Holy Spirit that gives us the discernment and true interpretation.  We have no excuse although it would seem better if we had one.  Here we go again, thinking our way instead of His.  HE LOVES US INSPITE OF US!  Go figure!
Well, Grandma Swann went to a New Year’s Party last night!!!!  I drove 70 miles to go to a real party.  WHAT????  I even danced!  What???  Knowing my history, you would understand why that was a BIG deal!  When Father tells you to do something, you better do it, at least that is what I am learning.  Do you walk and talk with Father God that way?  He loves you and wants that so much for you, (with you).  If not I suggest that you make it a 2020 goal to give everything up to God your Father, ask Jesus into your heart and let Him guide and direct your life from now on and forever, it is the only thing that works!  HE LOVES AND YEARNS FOR US SO!
PS.  At the party, I met a new Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter, new friends (I only knew the Hostess before), after midnight we all held hands in a circle and I was asked to pray the New Year in, and I taught them the song,  “Bind us together” and we all sang.  “Some plant, some water, God gives the increase.
